I look ragged. Not long awake from bad dreams as usual.
I got two lovely surprises this week, someone sent me the new Jesu album 'Conqueror' which I've been listening to this morning and I think is beautiful. Someone else got me a cd of gorgeous ambient music 'As Long As I Can Hold My Breath' and it's in a lovely package with flowers all over it! I don't know who got either of them though, let me know so I can thank you? That was so kind, both of them are so nice to listen to. These days, I'm really really disappointed with life but at least I have a good soundtrack now!

finished the application, they took my last 20 quid too.....
ended up callin it cascade, dunno why, but now i have an overwhelming urge to keep workin on it... 
prob just as well im too busy the next few days to get in there and ruin it.......

At the very least, you are building up a nice soundtrack! There is always music. And if there is that, then there can only be more for you to look forward to.
Thanks for letting me know you have the Basinski stuff. I was just about to upload them, hehe. The cover art for all 4 volumes is definitely worth owning.
Re: your essay
I don't know if this will help, but if you really feel you can't possibly write it in the time you have, there is no shame not doing it, if you have that option. You're mind needs time to breathe. This may sound old fashioned, but have you tried maybe sitting in a cafe with a pen and notepad to write? I find that if I alternate from that to the computer that it helps jolt things along.
I've just written loads on zetetic journal. I'd like to see Taxidermia too. I think I'll be fine watching that. Cannibal I'm not so sure. I really do want to see it, but anything based on reality tends to affect me more. If you read my comment on his page I go into it a little more. I read what you said about Irreversible. Isn't it strange the specific things that affect us? xx
