No you cannot leave university, until you have graduated, this time of year is always bad, spring is not to far away, just think of, longer days, evenings, warmth, buds on trees, daffodils in flower, birds building nests, waking up to see sunlight piercing the curtains, opening your back door early in the mornings and not being hit by a wall of cold.
Stick to university, you never know when a degree will come in handy!
I think having a break or taking a holiday in a strange place is never a bad idea. You may be avoiding stuff back home, but you'll be enjoying a whole lot of new and beautiful experiences when you go out of your comfort zone. When you come back home hopefully you'll be a little more at peace with yourself and your situation.
By the way, you're too talented and too good to not get over anything that is bothering you. You can do it and you will make it to summer!
Can't give you much advice, since everything you've just written is exactly what Im dealing with aswell. And I certainly haven't found a solution yet. I guess one just has to trust that things will get better and more interesting soon enough and fight on through day after day of crappiness.
No but really, things do tend to work out.
I am also really tired of university, and I've only attended one whole term. Hah. So I'll probably be even more tired come spring.
so many of us in the same predictament. i dont' wana be tied to anything i wana be free, on the wind. why does life cost money? but.. you know u can get through it. if you drop out, you could have an amazing time till summer, OR it could just whoosh past... it'll be summer and you'll have even less..
missed seeing u.
you get past them, with time, people are incredibly strong and can overcome the most terrible pain with time, unfortunately there's no fast forward button on life so you just have to wait. you think that leaving and running away are gonna help but they won't they are temporary fixes that only mask the pain and you never really work trhough it properly... getting through all these sucky things helps to shape you as a person, you'll be amazed by how much faith you'll have when you do come out the other side and remember that your incredible and amazing and beautiful and deserve good things!!

youll know if you need to.....
lets get drunk soon, i promise ill try and last the pace this time.....
in my experience there is no formula to getting over anything. for me, its always come out of nowhere. a result of a realization or an experience. something to make me see things from a different viewpoint. and it can happen any time.
this isnt necessarily going to be the case with you. but hope it helps a tad.
1)Everybody gets over depressed in winter. That's just S.A.D.
2)Do not quit university for what ever reason, its a stupid paper I know, but that paper will get you a more relaxing life.
3)Summer isn't that away.
4)Change your diet, I found that my mood swings a lot depending on my diet.
5)Change your alcohol, vodka makes me agressive and depressed, beer makes me jolly and with a stomach pain, whiskey makes me mellow and serious, bailey's makes me horny , etc. etc. maybe your drink is affecting you.
6)Eat chocolate.
7)Call me to tickle you .
