I would have to say, using something that involves the killing of others on a massive scale to make something else look better is a really piss poor way to prove a point.

Ah no no, you've misunderstood my statement. When the picture is taken away from the article and the statements it becomes sort of sad. Why should people have to compare their lifestyle to war to make it look good? That guy should be able to just hold a sign that says "Gays are fabulous" and everyone should be "well yeah". Unfortunately we're at a place where people have to say "My lifestyle isn't bad, but this is", which is what I was originally commenting on. I don't think gay people are immoral at all. Is war? Yes it can be, and at the moment I definitely believe it is.

Now having read both articles the picture in it's original context makes much more sense. Sorry for the confusion
