I'm fighting off the depression like a trooper, it's a bit like an epic battle to the death from a martial arts movie, only completely undramatic. More like me sitting with a look of deep concentration, staring out into the sea. I have been down the beach a lot. I can think better when I'm facing the ocean. I've lived by the sea for many years now, and the shore has always been a place I can run off to when things get tough.
My strategy has been to speak to people that make me smile (I can think of like, 3 people) and make my week a 'super happy fun week'- do lots of things that make me happy:
Monday: Went to the aquarium. Made friends with a really ugly flat-faced fish who followed me up and down the tank. Also saw an otter lick another otter's genitals, which was funny, if only for the children's responses around me. 'EEEW!'
Tuesday: Magical-mystery-history day. Learning is fun. I went to the local castle and to the museum on WWII. I like castles because they are dark, and you can peek through the windows and feel powerful. I tried on a tudor neck ruff

Like that. I was pleased with my appearance.
Military history is an interesting subject. Mainly I find the strategical stuff a little dry, but the stuff on the human impact of war is fascinating.
Wednesday: Went to the beach and did some sketching. I'm no artist, but art is good therapy, so I tried. Some guy came up to me and asked if I'd draw him, I told him no. I hate people. Also, I saw Kung Fu Panda today, it was great. Myself, and several other people spontaneously clapped at the end. I don't think I've ever been compelled to that before in a movie

What's next on super fun happy week?
Thursday: Going to see my friend Claire, you may remember her as ClearBrightFire. I intend to spend as much of the day as I can soaking in her happy family vibe. She has an awesome son, who even melts my cold, cold heart. In the evening I'm going to see Batman at the cinema.
Friday: See my Bonnie, maybe have a picnic or something. Lots of girl talk, I expect. In the evening I'm seeing Alice Cooper.
The weekend is looking pretty empty right now. I'm thinking of going to Monkey World. Not that I've discussed that with anyone else yet. Who wants to see some monkeys with me?

Look, they're taking over the world!!
That's all I have to say. Here's another youtube video about a depressed robot. This time it's Cheesoid, not Marvin.
