okay so it's really been ages (like 2 years!) but i'm thinking of resurrecting anarcha! I'm in sydney, australia now working on the PhD... it's f*@#ing hard and for once it seems i have a challenge academically... we'll see how I go. Anyway, i want to do a new photo set with my gorgeous neighbor who's a pro photog so send in your suggestions for themes, etc. people! I want to hear from you.. On that note I also want to apologize for being so ridiculously inactive on this site and not responding to people who messaged me, etc. If anyone is in the Sydney area... I so need a social life so feel free to message me!!

Okay like I said several months ago... I know I'm boring... I've been working the 9-5er at a pretty cool non-profit specializing in housing for the poor... it's been good... BUT I'M MOVING ON!!!! Last time I told you i was falling in love with Haywire, who apparently doesn't really have member status anymore or something... Well being that living in different hemispheres wasn't the best for the relationship, I applied to a scholarship in Sydney and amazingly... got it! So I'm going there to get my PhD in Human Geography, which as many of you may know, is a huge passion for me... So YAY! I've really wanted to do some sets lately but they're super picky these days and it seems like a waste of me and my photog's time to do something wait several months and have it rejected... Maybe when i get to Australia i'll do a fun one... Anyway, not else much is new.. I'll post new picks when I can.

Hello out there in SG land!!
Sorry it's been so long since my last post! I went to London and Paris with my aussie love interest... we had the sweetest time ever and totally spoiled ourselves/ each other. I have never really stayed in nice hotels or anything, so that was a first. He's a really really sweet guy though...
Anyway, i finally got a job i actually want, teaching kids in an after-school program, so I'm really excited about that, i haven't started yet but i hope they'll like me and i hope i can come up with fun lesson plans.. i think i'll be fine, i'm like born to teach... But that's only part-time so I'll keep trying with the modeling, acting gigs... for things i'm just kinda finding myself i've been making a pretty decent part-time income. i don't want to take it too seriously cuz that's when you become a crazy wanna-be actress and everything goes downhill... i don't believe in the whole "you have to want it the most" type thing...
what else is going on in my life? not much... i'm looking for a new roommate, the old one moved in with her b.f. so hopefully i'll find someone soon (i'm trying to hold out for someone i know).... I might be shooting a new set soon, but we'll see on that, SG's new standards are sooo picky! what happened to the DIY feel, huh? Anyway, i really need to do another set cuz i look so different these days... I would attach more pics like from Paris and etc. but they're all too big to post here... I don't have any programs to resize them on my computer...

In other news, I've been getting some good job leads and things are looking promising.

and a full body shot too... just for fun!

So we shot the scene for Filthy Rich, Filthy Uncle Phil with the director, writer Buzz Cartier and it was really fun.... he was my co-star playing Uncle Phil and we was really great. Seeing myself on-screen was somewhat overwhelming... and self-indulgently fun... Everyone told me I did great though.... When I get some stills from the set I'll share those too...

okay, so i'm still unemployed, but it's fine cuz i'm getting by.... i do odd jobs here and there (like cleaning people's apartments... shudder)... but i finally have a bit of good news... I was cast in a film (as Anarcha Suicide no less) and i'm in the first scene (which means i'm among the top billed!!) anyway it's called Filthy Rich, Filthy Uncle Phil and it's a feature length independent (very off-beat) comedy directed by this guy Buzz So i'm really excited about that, as I have a speaking part and i get paid (not very much, but that's irrelevent)!
Since I'm plugging things, I must plug my step-mom's new book...
Hooking Up or Holding Out Don't be fooled by the title, it's very feminist and cool... I love my step mom... Everyone should buy one and spread the word... she told me to tell people to write to Oprah and tell her it's much better than "he's not that into you" (and it totally is)...
Anyway, enough plugging... in other news... i seem to have gotten a sugar daddy somehow (well not really a sugar daddy) but an older guy who just adores me and bcuz he happens to live far, far away, is flying me to the halfway point btween the two of us, paris.... i'm one lucky, lucky, lucky woman.

Things are lookinng up for me, I'm feeling better.... Thanks to my steady 'fans' who actually check my page... and if you missed it... check my pics folder for my rejected set, i'm still quite into it even though "the lighting sucks"

in other news of rejection, i got fired from the job i really liked, not quite sure why either, they gave me the bs "it's just not the right fit" line... maybe the world of work is just not for me... what ever will i do?
well, i already had another interview and its only been a week, so i'm sure something will pan out...
in the mean time i've been dating a bit and that has been good for me, i guess some things in life improve while others fall apart...

so SG decided to reject the last set i sent them (the only one i've sent since my debut in 2004) which really sucks, seeing as how there will not be any more sets with me with dreadlocks. so for all those 'fans' waiting for another anarcha set, well, don't hold your breath. maybe i will post some of the rejected pics in my *pics* folder and you can see what you're missing. i thought it was an awesome set, but i guess they had problems with the "background" "theme" and "lighting".... anyway, you'll probably see some soon, its me making my way up three floors and onto the roof of an abandoned very old (pre-plastic technology) power plant on the hudson river. there is lots of ladder climbing and butt shots. anyway, still busy with work alot, but other than that, somewhat bored.... anyway, thanks for hanging in there all you dedicated folks who check this page regularly.
