We found an apartment that looks very promising. Within our price range, utilities included, and it has 2 bedrooms! We're meeting with the landlord next week to take a look at the place. Keep your fingers crossed for me! I can't wait to move out of university housing.

I ordered this lovely dress from ModCloth.
I can't ever seem to jusitfy spending money on clothes that aren't at thrift store prices and therefore usually walk around dressed like a hobo. But I treated myself since I was feeling particularly girly.

I ordered this lovely dress from ModCloth.

People at work found out about my SG nakedness.
Apparently some chick who works in the Deli department told a few people that I'm "on a website...I hear it's a porn site!" So one of the girls went to my boss and asked her if it was true.
Now I am proud of the modeling I do here on SG and don't mind people knowing; but it's not something I advertise to just anyone because people aren't always accepting of it. Anyway, this girl (whom I don't even know) claims that a guy who used to work at my store went to my Facebook and was "directly linked" to my SG profile. Riiiiiiiiiiiiight. lol
So to whomever it is that "doesn't" have a membership here and clearly has questions about my personal life, send me a friend request! I'd be happy to chat about my pinup modeling.
I avoid gossip and drama like the plague, so when I first heard about all this I was quite upset. Why wouldn't someone just ask me about it and not, say, my boss or other random coworkers?
But once the initial shock of hearing about the rumors wore off I felt relieved. It was very freeing! And it only confirmed my love for this site and what I do here. Suicide Girls is one of the happiest parts of my life and I will always gush to people about it if they just simply ask me.
Surprisingly, people have been so so supportive! A girl in the shop whom I know and love but hadn't yet told about SG gave me a big hug and told me "I'm proud of you! I wish I had the guts to do what you do." I already feel closer to her as a friend. Another female employee, I was told, sounded interested and said "You go girl!" Even my boss, who can be pretty quick to judge, just smiled and told me it's none of her business but she's glad I'm happy and safe.

My new year has been off to a shaky start.
My little Lola muffin passed away last week.
On Tuesday afternoon I did my usual post-work ritual of stopping by her cage to sing to her while I change out of my uniform. I peeked in...she was flat and not moving. I called her name and she didn't respond. I started bawling and could barely handle it. I left the house for a bit while byronNME took care of her. He wrapped her in a towel, put her in a box, and placed her in the river across the street. Just picturing that is too much for me even now. I loved that guinea pig and I will miss giving her baths and laughing at her late night squeaking.
I was in a car accident the last week of December.
It was bad and very scary. The car was totaled. Thankfully though both the other driver and I walked away unscathed. I haven't talked about it here yet because I wasn't ready until now. Ever since the crash I've been really paranoid about death. Worrying about losing a loved one or even dying myself.
Crossroads.
All this thinking has done me good though. I'm really focused on what's important now. Positive things are to come.l

I've been so burnt out from work lately, but this long weekend in the city was just the boost I needed. It was like a mini vacation!
Chilled with Drama while he was in town covering the big Fox UFC event.
I swear to God he is the sweetest, kindest, most down-to-earth gent ever. Ladies, he is single and I have no fucking idea why!
Anyway, he and I talked music, The Sopranos, and Nicholas Cage. (If you want to be amused beyond all human comprehension, ask him to tell you his Nick Cage story. lmao!)
Met up the next day with my sexy BFF Briscoe and headed to the Wit hotel to shoot a new set with writeboy.
Briscoe made me look so purty with her killer makeup skills! She also played lighting bitch and worked the reflector like a champ. Homegirl will be shooting a set of her own with Mr. Writeboy soon-ish too! Can't wait.
After the shoot writeboy stopped by our room for a glass of champagne and some chit chat. Then Briscoe and I crashed, ate Giordano's, and watched awesomely bad movies all night (Dinner For Schmucks, Hostel 1 & 2). It was epic.

My holiday consisted of Family, food, and hotel shenanigans.
Spent Christmas eve and Satanmas day with the in-laws.
I'm obsessed with the pretty comforter Mama and Papa got me. It's the softest thing ever!

Last night byronNME and I went to an amazing grille place with my side of the family (my loaded parents treated us).
It was a foodie's dream, for real! Incredible eats, amazing wine and cocktails! Probably the best meal I've ever had.
For appetizers, I ordered crab cakes with sun-dried tomato couscous salad with kalamata & saffron aioli duo.
I sampled oysters for the first time - some raw and some grilled in garlic taragon butter. The raw ones were transcendent! A true onslaught of ocean flavors. Light and decadent. Perfect!
I also had bleu cheese potato gratin, glazed carrots, grilled striped bass, roasted duck breast with cherry and port glaze, seared diver scallops, truffle pomme frites.
*DIES*
I somehow made room for my entree of asiago anocchi with grape tomatoes, shallots, garlic & basil, and crispy eggplant.
Drunk on food and alcohol, we blissfully retreated to our ritzy hotel room...for which my parents also footed the bill.
There was a friggin TV in the bathroom mirror!
I also got a Vizio tablet from the folks! I luurve this baby!
Rattlebone also got me some killer gifts:

Amazing bottle rocket vibrator (with cute little pop bottle case!)
Zeppelin undies!
In other news...
