I've bounced back...
or, more fittingingly, onward and upward.

The world didn't stop turning. It feels good to laugh again.

Autumn is almost here and that makes me giddy like a school girl!
I anticipate this Fall being the best yet! I have October 28th-November 3rd off work.

That means I won't have to work on both my birthday (October 30th) or Halloween!

Every year I ask you guys for scary movie recommendations...

Scary, freaky, disturbing, thought-provoking. Slashers, psychological thrillers, and anything in between!

Please help me add to this year's list:
Nosferatu (both the original silent film and Herzog's classic are must views for me each Halloween!)
Freaks
The Bad Seed (1956)
Martyrs (2008)
The Haunting (1963)
Man Bites Dog (1992)
White
Session 9
Dog Soldiers
Prince of Darkness
Audition
The Dark Hours
House of the Devil
the Fourth Kind
Sleepaway Camp

Endeavors:

My latest Zivity set "Just Off Route 64" is now up for your perving pleasure.
Shot by mfarring13 in a cornfield. You know, usual Midwest stuff. biggrin

Maybe my body needs more protein, because lately I have been craving red meat!

First of all, I love Pusheen (I went to high school with, and was dear friends with her creator!).

Secondly, I've been watching a TON of horror films via Netflix (so, on demand), I recommend:

Absentia & Yellow Brick Road (both love it or hate it).
Pontypool & Wicked Little Things (New takes on the zombie genre).

I'm so HAPPY to see you have Audition on here, Japanese horror is my favorite.
Dumplings, A Tale of Two Sisters, Ju-On, Shutter, and the original Ringu.

How extreme do you want to get?
A Serbian Film is seriously boundary pushing.

The series of films, "Eight Films to Die For" are also hit or miss, but I've enjoyed most of them.

And of course, The Exorcist is classic.

Hope that helps.

I'd suggest Let Me In; it's a slow build but worth it.
