And to think things couldn't get any buisier! Since my last update - 2 sydney trips one Adelaide trip and a Melbourne trip! I really enjoy all the travelling though and I seem to be quite used to the constant racing around every second of the day. I don't think I could just sit down and spend a few moments to myself anymore which is probaly the worst thing about it. People need time for reflection and introspection otherwise we can't grow.
Anyway to add to the crazyness the Lunamorph fashion show is on this Friday at the carriageworks in Sydney. I'll be takig part modeling some clothing by a local Canberra/Sydney designers.

Also coming up is an exhibition by Alex Proyas who I modeled for for some of the photographs. So if your in Sydney during this time be sure to check it out!

Oh yeah and I've just been published in a book recently too! Bondage and Photographs by
Garth Knight

Garth will also be performing some of his bondage work at Lunamorph and will be holding an exhibition there.
The jester ball on Friday night was AWESOME!!! everyone put soo much effort into their outfits and I felt as though I had stepped back in time into a fairytale! I really hope they hold a similar event in Canberra next year. I didn't get any pic's 'cause I'm a lazy bugger and couldn't be bothered carrying around my camera all night but a few of my friends took some piccies so I'll post some a little later.
I'll leave you with a random assortment of recent pictures.

Ok Well this is what I've been up to:
I've been shooting in Brisbane as I mentioned in my last journal. I had a great time up there and I'm looking forward to going back for the SGAU ball in August!! While I was there Ben and I drove down to Byron to do some fire twirling shots.

I had some problems getting my fire gear back down to Canberra because they wouldn't let me take it on the plane, which is crazy because they let me take it up there by plane
. I even rang beforehand and asked if I could take them and they instructed me on how to wrap it for the flight!!!?? Anyway so I had to pay $50 to freight it down to Canberra
Not long after I returned from Brissie I was off again down to Melbourne. The first couple of nights I was put up in this beautiful little cottage in the Dandenong's. When I walked into the cottage I recognised it instantly as I had seen it on getaway and commented about how I would love to stay somewhere like that! That luxury was good while it lasted but after that I was in a noisy apartment in the middle of the city. I don't have many pictures back from the Melbourne trip yet but here are the few I do have

Last Wednesday I went up to Sydney to see my favourite singer in the world, Lisa Gerrard!!!!
I still haven't gotten over how wonderful she was to see live. I don't think I ever will! Her music reaches you on onother leval. Your not just listening but feeling it.
I went back up to Sydney yesterday for another shoot. It rained most of the day which spoiled some of our ideas but I still think we got some great shots out of it ; )
Back in Canberra today and had the nicest sleep in ever!

Brisbane is fabulous, It's a far more beautiful city than I expected. My trip was going wonderful, did some shoots with awesome photographer Ben Heys and a couple of others and visited my friends who've moved here from canberra. So yeah it was going great untill I lost my wallet yesterday
I just hope I can get home next week without my id otherwise I'll just have to stay here, ohh what a shame
It's a real pain in the butt as all the money I had earnt on this trip was in there and I have to cancel all my cards but hey, there are worse things in life and I'm real lucky I have fantastic friends who have helped me out

I've also worked with photographer David Entz up here in Brisbane who is keen to shoot sets for girls if they need a professional to shoot them. He currently has one set up on the site, Odessa's lady in red. anyone interested in shooting with him can get in touch with me and I'll give you his details

*Update*
I'm one very lucky girl! my wallet was handed in this morning to a hotel not far from where I lost it. and it had all my money still in it!!! There really are some honest people out there. Thankyou whoever you are!

Thanks for all the well wishes, I'm still alive and feeling much better now. And for all of you who were concerned no it wasn't a spider bite. there was a significantly large amount of time between my virus and nearly getting bitten by the redback
Thanks for your concerns anyway.
I'm so excited right now and I just want it to be Thursday already. Thursday evening I'll be picking my new little baby (of the scaly variety) up from the airport! I'm very nervous about having her transported by plane but they assure me that its the safest and quickest way.
Off to Brisbane next week!! I've never been there before so it should be a nice little adventure for me

Got back from Sydney on Sunday night and I started feeling really feverish. By Monday the rash which I thought was sunburn started spreading from my chest down my torso and arms and on my face. So yeah I've got some weird virus and I've been feeling like crap for days
I don't usually get this sick but this one has really knocked me around
Won't be doing much these next couple of days so maybe I'll have more time to chat to you lovley people
I was cleaning up some old junk the other day and I nearly put my hand on this little bugger

This week has been hot and I've been feeling really lazy. There are things I really should be doing but just can't bring myself to do them
Not much to write about except that I'm excited because I'm travelling to five different states within the next five months. I can't believe how lucky I am to be able to see many beautiful parts of Australia and get paid for doing so! I just wish that mattblack could come with me sometimes
More piccies from some photoshoots:
This one is another from my perth trip last year

Any WA models needing a set shot, I'd definately reccomend him as a photographer.

That was good timing. I got home from the coast 20 mins ago to see that my set had just gone up. yay!! Thankyou everyone who has left lovely comments
Yesterday as a spur of the moment descision Mattblack some firends and I decided to drive to the coast to celebrate the new year. It was a great night and today I swam in the ocean which I don't get to do very often but just love so much. Then afterwards we had lunch up at the graveyard on the headland and just enjoyed being in such a beautiful place.
Have a great 2007 everyone!

Well I'm back from my WA adventure. I had a great time but was fairly busy so I didn't get a chance to do all the touristy stuff. The Margaret River area was so beautiful and I got to see the sun set over the ocean for the first time!

I was hoping to go herping too but didn't get time for that either although I did find a shingleback by the back door one morning. I think he was looking for the dog food.

Here are some pictures from one of the shoots I did over there. They were taken by the fabulous David Wooley.

And dont forget the last ever Metal For The Brain next weekend!!
