The bathroom is still not finished!!!! Grrrrrr. But the garden looks beautiful as the spring creeps in
Well it seems I had fallen off the edge of SG word for a while. Things got pretty busy over the last few months with the biggest reason being that Glen and I finally bought a house! We moved in about two months ago and are now living the nightmare of renovating. We haven't had a bathroom for over a month! but at least we have a flushing toilet now
....... No the house isn't as bad as it sounds. actually it's absolutley gorgeous especially the gardens. We just thought we'd do some small small things here and there which turned out to be bigger jobs that expected.
I can't believe I'm going to see Alice in Chains on Sunday! I've waited 14 years for this! Still soooooo dissapointed that Layne is gone though
Oh wow apparently there is a picture of me in the new SG book! If anyone has the book could you please send me a picture I'd love to see it!!!
I hope you all had a great NYE. Mattblack and I decided to stay down the coast for the night. We didn't have a big one though. Just stayed up chatting with our neighbours and fire dancing on the beach.

I finally get a weekend where I dont have to be anywhere or be doing anything!!! ; ) But I really dont know what to do with myself. Just not used to all this spare time I suppose lol. Anyway I'm going to take this opportunity to check out SG and update my Journal which I haven't really done since last year............. I knew 2008 would be a great year and it has been! I'm the happiest I've been in a long while : )
Ok, so far this year some of the highlights have been........Starting burlesque dancing with Miss Kitkas House of Burlesque. It's great fun and I cant believe I didn't start this sooner. We have done a few shows this year including the Zombie Appreciation Day on Fri 13th of June. I managed to find a couple of piccies from the night.

Twirling those tastles zombie style!

We also performed 'Searchlights and Sirens' a 1940's themed show in August.

Unfortunately I dont know if I can display any pic's of the show but I'll update and add them if I can.
Shortly after I started a more modern style dance class and also pole dancing. Basically to aquire various dance skills for a troup I've put together that will start performing early next year : ) .........Keep you eye's out for that one.
In July I did some modeling overseas in Japan, The UK and France. Here are some of the modeling pics and happy snaps from the trip. I dont have many happy snaps as most of the trip is on my video camera and I've lost the usb cable and can't download it yet : (

In addition to my last entry, Yes I'll still be submitting sets here. At the rate my sets are going live I already have enough pre shot sets to last another couple of years
And I'll still post some nice piccies in my journal every now and then as I'm not giving up the modeling all together just cutting back on it so some new sets are still a possibility

After thinking about stuff and some realizations I've decided to cut right back on my modeling. It was fun but thinking back I was pretty selfish and shallow, and I've been quite ignorant toward life in general. I have achieved what I wanted to which wasn't any great achievement anyway as I never really got much out of it other than some lovely photo's. I'll still do occasional shoots but it won't be such a big part of my life anymore. There are alot more important things in life and time is just too precious.
Money and art will never be more important than being there for someone you love.

Aaarrrggg my profile layout has gone all weird! Why doesn't that surprise me
Anyway on the good side I finally have a chance to update!
I've recently returned from Melbourne where I did shoots for designers Kiss Me Quick, Bella rubber and Devil Doll and now back in Canberra I have the next few weeks free of photoshoots. It's just too cold to book any work when it is below 10 deg outside! Well it is bloody cold wet and miserable here today. The rest of the house is even too cold to venture out to so I've locked myself in my bedroom with my heater and pc to keep me company. I feel like a prisoner!
Not too long till the SGAU Ball! Ooh I can't wait I just looove dressing up! I wanted to get a costume made for the occasion but figured I could probably wear something I already have. I did splurge a little though and buy something awesome to go with it. Sorry no peeks or hints I'd rather let it be a surprise.
I can't leave you without any pictures so here you go

And to think things couldn't get any buisier! Since my last update - 2 sydney trips one Adelaide trip and a Melbourne trip! I really enjoy all the travelling though and I seem to be quite used to the constant racing around every second of the day. I don't think I could just sit down and spend a few moments to myself anymore which is probaly the worst thing about it. People need time for reflection and introspection otherwise we can't grow.
Anyway to add to the crazyness the Lunamorph fashion show is on this Friday at the carriageworks in Sydney. I'll be takig part modeling some clothing by a local Canberra/Sydney designers.

Also coming up is an exhibition by Alex Proyas who I modeled for for some of the photographs. So if your in Sydney during this time be sure to check it out!

Oh yeah and I've just been published in a book recently too! Bondage and Photographs by
Garth Knight

Garth will also be performing some of his bondage work at Lunamorph and will be holding an exhibition there.
The jester ball on Friday night was AWESOME!!! everyone put soo much effort into their outfits and I felt as though I had stepped back in time into a fairytale! I really hope they hold a similar event in Canberra next year. I didn't get any pic's 'cause I'm a lazy bugger and couldn't be bothered carrying around my camera all night but a few of my friends took some piccies so I'll post some a little later.
I'll leave you with a random assortment of recent pictures.
