I took a much needed mini-vaca to NYC this past weekend and spent some wonderful quality time with the smushies (Mle and NewYorkMatt).

I'm waiting on Matt to send me some pictures from this weekend, but here are a couple:

Doesn't he look scared of me for some reason?

casual

I also got to meet YouDidntKissMe finally! Truely awesome guy!

Kera has been archived. Please don't ask me questions about it, I'm not at liberty to discuss it.

We sat together at a cafe tonight and talked about a lot. Kera understands me. We understand each other. It's not often that I meet someone who has so much life experience in common with me. I mean, how many people do you know that have lived on the streets in their teenage years? Not many I would bet.
So much of our conversations are reliant apon our understanding of each other and the enormous amount of shit we have both gone through.
I love her so much!
I'm glad that SG was here for us to get to know each other better. I feel she'll always be a close friend in my life.

She sends everyone her goodbyes and well wishes and you can contact her at kerasuicide@gmail.com.

p.s. I'm feeling a bit sad right now, so please don't be upset if I don't respond to comments or messages. I am reading them, and of course, you guys always make me feel better. So feel free to comment, but know that you may not get a response for a few days.

This weekend has been non-stop like WHOA! and I have pictures to proove it!

So, my weekend started on Thursday night. I met Hellah and Sureality and Provo and Aaron from Starvin With Louis at the bar, had a couple beers and some food. We then headed over to a party where we found ourselves completely out of place, surrounded by a bunch of hipster kids (you know the kind that spend 2 hours in the mirror so they can look just the right kind of trashy in their Urban Outfitter exclusive clothes with their belt strategicaly placed on the side).
So Hellah and I decide that the only way to deal with such a situation is to get drunk and make fun.
Getting drunk seemed like a good idea. I also thought it would be a good idea to shoot a fire extiguisher off at Provo out in the hallway of the building. It was really funny until the fire alarm went off. So of course we made a quick get away just in time to see two fire engines screach in with lights and sirens blaring!
We managed to make a clean get away and I passed out around 3:30 on the couch.

The next day I went straight to class, changed at school and headed off to the Dresden Dolls show at the Orpheum Theatre.

The show was, of course, INCREDIBLE! nuff said.

Saturday night:
So the name of the party was Debauchery. No I'm not kidding, that was really the name of the party.
The concept was this: Apon arrival each guest is given ten debauchery dollars. The goal is to earn the most debauchery dollars by the end of the night. In order to earn debauchery dollars you of course must do something debaucherous.
Although I did not win, I did come in a close second and I kissed so many hot girls that my lips were sore by the end of the night.
And now, the pictures I promised...
Getting ready

Did I not do a magnificent job on this man's make-up?
J.T. and Adele

The crew

You can't see it, but Adele is packing a silver strap-on under there. Fabulous!

Dressed to kill

Somewhere around 5:30am we made our way back to J.T.'s, crashed for exactly 2 hours and then rushed off because J.T. had a massage class.
It was a fabulous time, but I'm not sure my feet will ever forgive me. Wearing 9 inch platforms all night long is a bad idea, I have discovered.

Today was a lazy day where the most I got done was some grocery shopping, and tomorrow I will be observing gorillas at the zoo for class.

oh, and I know this is getting pretty long, but I have to add this in...
My philosophy professor gave me another A on the paper I just finished which gives me an A for the course! *happy dance*
oh, and he also had these very nice things to say, "This is another very impressive paper, far above the norm in solidity of argument and quality of writing for undergraduate philosophy papers. Your summary analysis of the conceptual frameworks of Rawls and Nozick is accurate and complete for the purposes of a short paper, and your application of those frameworks to the estate tax controversy is balanced and convincing. I’m wondering how your plans for the future are shaping up. You clearly belong in college as a matriculating student, and I think you would do very well as a philosophy major at UMB. The major is particularly good as preparation for law school or graduate work in policy studies, both of which you may have a talent for, and both of which are represented by special tracks within the department (i.e. there are philosophy and law and philosophy and public policy programs). Also the philosophy department at UMB is an especially lively place for undergraduates. Friday afternoon discussions in the Philosophy Club regularly draw around 30 participants. I know that financial aid is always a consideration, but I’d be more than happy to write you a very strong letter of recommendation. In any event, if your purpose this semester was to get your feet wet in “regular college,” I’d urge you now to just plunge right in. "
Eeeeeeeehhhh!
Thats exciting to me, but I think I'll stick with Cultural Anthropology.

Ok, I'm done now.
'night! kiss

Happy Bicycle Day!

Go say congrats to Mle and NewYorkMatt an their first anniversary! They are the cutest couple in the world! I love my smushies!!!

I NEED this CD:

I hate being poor!
The other night I was sad and delusional from lack of sleep and ended up buying one single ticket to see the Dresden Dolls on friday night. I'm such a dipshit. Now I'm going to the show alone.
note to self: never buy anything off the web at 5 in the moring when you are really depressed. Chances are you are not thinking straight.

But oh Amanda how I love you! Won't you marry me, please!

Anyway, I thought you might find this pic interesting:

Thats me, dreadless and only 18.

Love you all like a fat kid loves cake!

Mle's cameo!

Mle being eaten by my bra!

me.
------------------------------------------------

I just about finished my second paper for philosophy. It's a comparison/contrast on the different perspectives of John Rawl's vs. Robert Nozick as applied to the estate tax. phew! Glad thats over with!

Remember a few posts ago when I told you about the girl in my bio anth class that always has some sort of snack? Well today she had some oysters (I kid you not! Oysters in class!), a bag of sunflowers, a can of pineapple, and a bottle of orange juice! I love it! She finished off the oysters and threw out the can once someone in the class complained about a foul smell. Ha!

Yay! I'm once again naked on the internet! I want to thank you all for the wonderful comments on Fatality and I's set. I will try to get back to each one of you and give a special thank you.

But now I'm going to ask a favor of you all. Please go give some love and recognition to NewYorkMatt for doing such an amazing job with the photography!
I mean, just look at this amazing photo:

So, what Fatality says is true, I was in the hospital, but only for a few hours and I am fine. But thanks for the well wishes.

Ok, well, I'm really exhausted right now, but I plan to post some outtakes later and give some details on the set and what went on.

p.s. Some of you asked me if the address on my profile is correct. It is indeed correct! I bought a special mailbox so that I could exchange burned cds and the like. So if you would like to send me something, that would be awesome. I'll do my best to send something back!

I should update.
Honestly, the only things I can think to write about cannot be discussed here.
I'll be back when I have more to say.

Quitting smoking is so fucking hard. I hate it! Why are cigarettes so bad for you? I love them!
I miss smoking.

Ok, so there are some CDs I want, but you all know I'm broke so help me out here. Would any of you be able to burn a copy of the following CDs for me?

*Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Show your bones
*Death Cab for Cutie - Plans
*Michael Franti and Spearhead - Stay Human
*The Best of the Talking Heads
*Sizzla - Soul Deep
*The Shins - Chutes too Narrow
Thats all I can think of right now, but I am up for suggestions.
Thanks guys!
