Hey folks!
Its about time I had a "real" journal entry...

As I said earlier, I am moving to L.A.. The reason behind my move is, of course, love. What else could be so worthy? I believe I have mentioned the fact that I am head over heels for this man:

He wants to move to L.A. for his career (recording engineer/producer) and I don't have any real attachments to Boston. I have no family and only a handful of friends, so I thought, "why the hell not, I'm sick of winter anyway!"
So off we go!
Our plan is to drive out of Boston on September 23rd. This is our route so far...
*Sept.23
Boston to D.C. Stay with Eric's dad, see some friends.

*Sept. 24th
D.C. to Southern Georgia (Hostel in the Forest!!!!!!!!!!!) Lounge around the hostel for a day or so.

*Sept. 26th
HITF to New Orleans! We're still looking for a place to stay here. or a cheap hotel.

*Sept. 27th
New Orleans to Austin
See Eric's Mom and some friends again.

*Sept. 28th
Austin to El Paso
Hang out with more friends for a couple days.

*Sept. 30th
El Paso to L.A.
Our new home sweet home!

I will soon be selling some art work (mostly jewelry) and have found a nifty way to raise funds for my trip which I will let you all in on once I have ironed out the kinks. wink
********************************************

In other news.... well, I guess its pretty big news actually....
I CUT MY HAIR OFF!!!!!
Now I know you all loved my hair, and I did too, but it was time to move on. Some of you may already know this, some may not... I dreaded my hair for spiritual reasons (please don't roll your eyes). I believe hair holds energy and locking your hair, locks that energy. Well, I had had my dreads for two years. It seemed that eveyrthing in my life was changing... new love, new city, new view... it was time to cut out the old and let in the new. The best way I knew how to do that was to chop off my physical manifestation of my past, my dread locks.

So without further adieu....

Eeeeeeee!!!!!! no hair! Sorry for the crappy phone cam pics, tis all I have.
Oh yes, and the glasses are new as well. Serves me right for wishing for them so hard in the 2nd grade.
Do you still love me? blush
************************************************************

I saw this man:

on the train the other day. his uniform was very old, and he spoke in Creole into a dead walkie talkie. He even sang songs to his imaginary comrade.
*************************************************************

So who else is going to the SG 5th year anniversary party? Let me know if I will see you there!
My dress:

**************************************************************
And this is me with long black hair...

*************************************************************

oh and look...

It Pat! On the subway with me! Crazy.....
*************************************************************

Alrighty then lovlies, I enjoy our little visits, but I must go. I shall return. Try not to miss me too terribly much!
kiss

I'm blown away by the amazing response to my set! You guys are fantastic, and all the comments and messages were very appreciated. Please! Keep the comments coming! If you didn't comment on the set DO IT! Commenting is how SG keeps track of what members like and don't like, and we want to show them that we like art and creativity to go along with our boobies!

Ok, I'm off my soap box....

So... Yes! There was a ton of hard work put into this set! More than I think you would even believe. Many of you commented that this set was like a Frank Frazzetta painting or a cover of Heavy Metal. Well, you nailed it, thats exactly what we were going for.

A bunch of you really like the costume in this set. droctopus is the guy to congratulate on that! Of course I helped a bit with the planning of it, but it was Larry who put it together and made it look so damn real. You wouldn't believe it, but a bunch of the pieces of that costume were made from ice skates that Larry and I found at the thrift store!
The hair you saw around my neck and waist, was a last minute idea of Larry's while at the beauty store, it's a weave!
What we liked to call the boobie hammock was made from a couple belts. I'm telling you, this guy is AMAZING!

This is Larry icing down my nipples (nipples look nicer when they are hard, but thats not easy to maintain when you have a bunch of hot lights on you for 6 hours!)
Oh, and let's not forget, he also built the slab I was sitting on, the axe I was holding, and the background!

Sureality, as everyone knows, photographed and photoshopped the set (the photoshopping was also aided by Larry). Mike gives great direction! We shot for six hours straight and by the end I was incredibly greasing, dirty and grumpy! But Mike kept me pumped the whole time and having Hellah there helped me stay in good spirits as well.

Hmm what else can I say?
This set was months in the making! The day of the shoot I spent over 12 hours at Larry's screwing around with costume details and then shooting. I didn't get home until nearly 3am! Thats a long day of shooting!

I need to sleep now, so I will update with more info on the set tomorrow!

Thanks again guys!

Woohoo! My set went up. Thank you all for all the lovely messages and comments!

At the moment I am in Austin, Texas and don't really have much time to spend on SG.

I'll give a proper update when I get back!

Love you all!

Hello my sweets! I know I haven't been around much lately and for that I apologize. blush I have been busy with life in general and life has been good!

But I have a surprise for you! Well, it's not nearly as exciting for you as it is for me, but considering how boring my last few posts have been, it's pretty big news.
I have a new tattoo!!!!! Yay!

See for yourself:

So, they aren't the greatest pics. I'll try to take more soon.
The text says, "This shaking keeps me steady. What falls away is always, and is near." It's taken from my favorite poem by Theodore Roethke, "The Waking".

This past weekend I attempted to go to Firefly, which is a regional Burning Man event in the woods of Vermont. I say attempted because it was a complete disaster and I was only there for about 24 hours (it was supossed to go from friday to monday). Due to the ridiculous amount of rain the entire site was one big mud pit.
The camp I was with (Sonic Beating) had a sound system set up and when we woke up it was essentially sitting in a lake! We tuned into the weather chanel on a radio and heard there was more rain coming and some hail, so we all pussied out and packed up. Turns out, the rain never came. We had made it through the worst, and left just in time for the best. blackeyed meh, oh well.

Anyhwayzzzzz...... I'm totally in love with this man right here!
.....and thats the news!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, yeah, I'm excited! This money couldn't have come at a better time! So, I must tell the story behind this set:

TeamRockStar came up to Boston from NYC to shoot a bunch of us Ladies, me included. Originally, we were going to shoot an outdoor set (not telling specifics because it is still going to happen). There were a few problems with this idea:
A) The only place I could find to do what we wanted to do was in a friends backyard when nobody would be home. That meant no power, which meant only battery powered lights.
2) girlie would have to do my make-up in the car, which was a big problem for her for obvious reasons (she is such a premadonna wink).
and C) On this particular night it was 10 degrees (farenheit) and there were 25 MPH winds whipping through Boston, bringing the temperature down to about ooohhhh.... -15 degrees! Take note of the negative sign there!

But through it all I was determined to go through with it! I had a fabulous idea and it just HAD to be done!

So I was in the shower getting nice and clean and purdy for the shoot when I get a phone call from Kera, She was outside my apartment with Girlie, and Bailey in tow. I walked down in my towel to let them in and before I could even get dressed, they were sitting on my bed, conducting an intervention!
After 20 minutes, they were finally succesful in convincing me that I was insane, and would surely loose my nipples to frostbite if I went through with this.
So now the problem was, "what set can we with limited costume options, and limited set options (hotel room)?"
So we packed up basically ALL of my clothes into two enormous garbage bags and headed off to the hotel without a clue as to what we'd end up doing.

But Steve had the answer!

I have to say I was doubtful at first, simply because the theme HAD been done before. But we rocked it out!

So here is a special thanks to Tmronin(photo genius!), Anteros (sweetest man alive!), and Girlie (Make-up Master!).
Also a special thanks to Bailey and her fabulous belt, which totally made the set!

After the set was shot Kera and I had a little play time in the shower!
Observe:

The fist one keeps cutting off and I'm tired of fucking with it, so you can see the full pic in my "outakes" folder.
Have fun with those kids!

P.S. So, I'm trying to brake my own record by getting 500 comments. Think you guys could help me out with that? Thanks!
