Poi class was awesome! I learned so much.
I can't wait until I'm actually good at spinning fire. My hair seems to get in the way alot while spinning. Not sure what I can do about that really. I don't want ot set my hair on fire.

Sometimes I can't remember why I love. Sometimes he talks so much that I can't remember what the topic of conversation is anymore. Sometimes I like to give up on the idea of being special in his eyes. Sometimes he makes my head hurt, and sometimes I make my head hurt.

p.s. Having just seen Bunny's new set I am reminded that I desperately need more Shakespear in my life. I NEED to start acting again in some way.

"You never know what something means to you until you lose it"

maybe you need to lose the things you love for a day or a week or a month or a year. if they're really things you love, you'll remember why and you'll go back to them. if not, you'll realize there's so much more out there in the world.

I often think cliches are the answers to all lifes problems. tongue

That firespinning looks absolutely amazing. I do hope you don't burn all your hair off.
Tho that could make for an interesting evening.

That is wicked! Sorry I haven't been around much. I've been playing host, travelling (just a little) and working my tail off.

Next month will be less hosting, more travelling and more working. But enough excuses - I shall endeavor to be much more online whenever possible.

poi looks awesome. do you sweat alot in class? i picture lots of sweat with the moving and fire and all. what do you mean you dont want your hair on fire? all the cool kids are doing it. hahahah. i HATE the smell of hair burning. what about a wrap of some sort for your head? hmmm, i wonder if dreads burn differently than unknotted hair. confused oh, another question, what kind of music do they play in poi class and also, is it pronounced like koi but with a p? kiss

so theres not much in the flame resisitant headwrap stuff as far as sexiness goes that is for sure! i was looking around trying to find something and the only thing i found was this and the only kinda cute thing i found was one of those ear flap hats. but denim burns slower right? maybe a denim scarf all twisted underneath??? but i know what you mean about that making you taller. thats quite the conundrum. and its free? thats super awesome. also, i wondered, where does that come from? hawaii? india? sorry im so full of questions i just find it fascinating. blush

6" taller, eh? Hm. Marge Suicide. Ok, I can see how that would get in the way of the poi, but even so, hair and white gas tend to form a smelly combination. I don't know a firespinner who hasn't smacked themselves with lit poi at some point, and a kerchief or something makes a big difference in how long you're pulling cruchies out of your hair and how likely it is you have to stop, drop, and roll.

How about some kind of wrap for the dreds? I'm imagining they could be rubber banded at the base and a foot down and then have a scarf wound around them. Hm. Pretty image. I'm imagining a colourful scarf.

Re: the job - Med-lab robot coder. Don't know when I'll hear back from the company, but there was an eMail a few days back asking me when I wanted to talk salary requirements, so that sounds positive. I still have weeks of thesis work left to get done, so I'm not rushing yet.
