Al, I just wanted to say that you got me into suicidegirls. A friend told me about the site and when I logged on I saw your beautiful face staring right into my eyes. I lurked the site for three weeks before joining and ended up reading most of your journal postings. To me, you represent everything that is good about suicidegirls. A complex and vulnerable combination of beauty (holy cow, isn't there a stronger word I could use?), counterculture, intelligence, and angst. The Chasing Amy allusion was a nice touch, as well.

I feel obligated to offer emotional support for tonight's garbage.
