You ever notice how some (lots) people are so lame? Petty, nit-picky, ill-informed but willing to share, dumb besides, unwilling to read or listen and on top of it hold opinions that are based in no sort of fact? And then try to CONVINCE you they're right? I've found that if I think about it for long enough I can come up with good reasons for nearly all my ethical beliefs... perhaps not aesthetic... but quite a few of those, too.

Maybe they should take some time to think things through before they start talking to me.

I'm so SICK of it.

Here we go: ice cream truck. Does it really have to be an actual truck for me to call it that? Van, golf cart, or guy on a freaking skateboard pulling a freezer on wheels... it's a fucking ice cream truck.

I've managed not to shave my head as I've come too far with my hair growth. You don't have to shave your head to wear fabulous wigs every day. Admittedly, I did get most of my wigs when I had no hair, but it was because I sorta needed them... weddings n stuff. But that doesn't mean I don't still wear them a lot.

I don't know what frustrates me more: That there are so many people like that, or that I allow myself to bitch about them every damn day.

The worst is when those over-inflated, think-they-know-it-all-but-don't-know-shit jerk offs manage to fake their way through life by convincing other equally stupid people that they are actually competent.

In Chicago once I came across an ice cream truck that didn't play the usual ice cream truck song, it played "Pop Goes The Weasel". However, the weird thing was that it didn't play the end of the song. It would play the "All around the mulberry bush The monkey chased the weasel. The monkey thought 'twas all in fun." part, but never play the "Pop goes the Weasel" part. It just kept repeating. That driver had the worst job in the world.

Your comment is SO spot on and I love you for bringing it up. As someone who spends a pretty great deal of time thinking about my thoughts, usually prior to projecting them on other people, I feel you on the bitterness of people that don't practice this same simple mental craft. I am so tired of listening to people that are convinced that they've figured it all out by the time they're 22. You will always be wrong from time to time, your heart will be broken dozens more times no matter how hard you try to avoid it, and you will never be smarter than everyone else. We all breathe the same air, walk the same streets and drink the same water. We are all different and that's what makes us all the same. Help me help you help ourselves! Sorry for the rant, you made me think and that makes me smile and that makes me so happy.
