Well, I sorta dropped off the face of the earth there for a while, yeah?

For everyone who ordered prints n stuff from me, read below:

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
After having to contact the print company a few times to get them to send me my stuff, it finally arrived, but some of the prints were creased and folded weirdly, and it wasn't even everything I'd ordered. So, after sending everything back almost immediately, I've been waiting for them to give me a refund so I can go with someone else. They said a couple weeks, and that was about a week ago, so if I don't see anything by next week I'm calling myself a fucking lawyer.

There's nothing really new in my life. I've been working a lot, I guess, and my band has a show on March 2nd, Red Collar's cd release party. I'm tired, and now I have to go back to work. Again. *sigh*

See ya in another month.

Sorry to hear everything hasn't been blissful and perfect in the last month. I guess you could say that being tired from working so much is better than being tired from looking for a job all day, but I've been in your boat quite a few times, and when you're exhausted, there really is no silver lining unless you have a good break in the routine to look forward too. Best wishes for the daily grind.

Sorry to hear about that print shit. I know only too well how frustrating that stuff is. The product arrives and they got some of it wrong even though you gave them instructions a three year old could follow. There's delays and hold ups that they don't even let you know about and when you call they give you an excuse that sounds all too much like they just made it up. Then there's the monkey in the middle business where you're getting dogged by the client or co-staff member and you are having to dog the vendor who is being real shitty about getting back to you. It sucks! I've had my share of times where I just have to start all over with another vendor while screaming bloody murder at the first one to get my deposit back. I often find that if I could get garraunteed service from some one I would almost be willing to pay double the actual cost.

Hmmm...OK? The important thing is that you told us what was going on and not leaving us in the cold. Some people would've done that and be worthless pieces of shit, but you're being honest and I respect that. Work may suck @ times, but the things we all have to do to pay our bills and keep food on the table, huh? Hope your day bodes well...

What annoying crap to have to deal with! Who, might I ask, have you been using that are so horrible? Good luck, and I hope you don't have to deal with them for much longer.

Try NC Tricolor. They are in Garner, but they have a website, and you can send in an order with digital files, and they can ship them to you. They're professional!

I feel somewhat relieved now. It would be a different matter if it weren't $50 on the line.

So the coffe shop job is working out for you eh? I remember working at Starbucks for a while and while it wasn't exactly the highest paying job is was definately the most fun. Funny thing is I hate coffee. Don't drink it, tried too but I was so spastic and had such bad headaches I had to stop.

Ah jeez, those guys sound a hair or two shy of "professional". Hopefully it won't reach the point where you do need a lawyer. But on the bright side, that's good news about your band (which I must admit I didn't even know you were in). Hope the show goes well.
