Fuck you Cosmo magazine... Not just because of your incredibly ignorant opinion on tattooed women but also because you press women to have unrealistic expectations of what beautiful is. Magazines like yourself make young girls disrespect individuality and themselves. You should be ashamed of the filth you publish every month. You set women back 60 years. Probably the most misogynistic ideals that you cloak as a "womens" magazine. How dare you insult a culture older than time. Tattoos are timeless and so is REAL beauty.

In case some of you that have not heard Cosmo just insulted Emily Valentine, "Edgy at 24 frightening at 84". Please contribute to stop this discrimination by writing to Cosmopolitan

I agree with you 110% , I hope more women wake up. The "target" audiance that those types of magazines cater to are very small

OMG I know! I read through the magazine and not only that part but I really hated the dermatologist telling you that the only non-regretatble tattoo to get was a quote in black ink and smaller than a compact. Like really? That will look like shit fast and people usually regret quotes! HAHA. I actually wrote to the editor and told them that they needed to be more open, for christs sake my Harpers that came at the same time had tattooed models!

Emily Valentine is certainly beautiful now, and I wouldn't expect her to be any more frightening than any other 84 year old. It is a pity that some older people dictate their thoughts on life and culture based on what they are told in an opinion piece in a magazine such as Cosmo. I can definitely see how teens would be influenced though. I think it's a superb idea for you women to write the editor and complain, I would include your age so they understand the demographic.
(I'm not sure a letter from a man would be taken seriously. smile )

Is the article online?

It's the latest issue for sure but here is Cosmo's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Cosmopolitan
or their site
http://www.cosmopolitan.com/

I'm not sure if they posted it online... but it was such garbage for them to make such blatant discrimination

Definitely going to protest

Damn!, the ignorance is taking the world, the other day I was watching the T.V. because they were talking about the London Pain circus and the conclusion of the stupid TV host was like this: "Well, as we can see there are people IDLE even in a place as civilized as England", I was in shock WTFFF!!, they´re true artists not as mediocre as they who appear in TV talking shit and calling themselves artists!!mad
