+sniffle+ i really don't want to work for nine hours on three and a half hours of sleep. i'm one of those people where if i don't get a least seven, i'm in trouble. that, and my sinuses have been massively blocked for three days what can i say? my best friend's mom died on monday and i didn't find out til thursday. so i went over to his house to keep him company (and drink a lot:p) and of course no one went to bed til around four am. so yeah. he's one of those people who can't emote sadness- literally, i don't think he's even cried yet. or if he has, no one saw it. she was sick for so long, i think he takes comfort in knowing she's at rest.

on a less depressing note, it was a year ago today that at a giant festival in my hometown known as In The Streets, my fellow peaceful protestors and I chased some crazy-related-to-Fred Phelps-bible-thumping-homophobes down the effing street. we let them know they weren't welcome. good times.


i'm really sorry if i haven't been good about responding to messages or comments, or shit even checking up on everyone else's blogs to make sure they're not dead, but this move is kicking my ass. and now i have a cold and i'm still not donw with the boxes, and i have a test to study for and a paper to write

but i did see Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist last night. so stinkin cute.

speaking of which, everything is done! well, all the boxes are here, but we still have to go through them all, AND find a way to get our box springs up the stairs- it took the movers an hour before they gave up on my bed

humbug on moving, i say. there's still so much to pack and so much to clean! i've been in the process of redecorating my room while i'm at it, so my project list just keeps growing and growing.

on that note, i'm sorry if i've been really lame about returning comments and messages- between all this, school, and work i kind of want to step out in front of a bus.

but i would never- girlfriend is way too wonderful! in my last blog, i went on the whole schpiel about how 6 months is a big deal for me, and how i got us those foxy shazam/senses fail tickets, but i had told her not to worry about getting me a present or doing anything too fancy cos we're broke, and going to this show was plenty for me! well, she was reallllllly sneaky and had saved up to get something- a gorgeous pearl necklace and bracelet. i swear, i am the luckiest, most spoiled girl on earth. i would have been happy with chinese takeout and a movie (which we did end up doing), but she surprises me every time. its not about the gift- it was really just about how excited she got while she was giving it to me, and how much thought and effort she put into it. i am the happiest lesbian on earth! (and how many of them can say that? not a lot, kids.)

straying now from gagging noises-diabetes-esque cuteness, i'm posting how bananas my life is going to be for a bit. purely to update your knowledge (and to keep me sane):

today: work, class, CLUB! (check out this lovely lady, who might be spinning tonight at The Depot in b'mor tonight: DJ K1T1!)
thursday: work, packing (ugh).
friday: more effing packing followed by a massive moving party of all the boxes in my house. free pizza and beer for all my lovelies who provide either a vehicle and/or manly arms (preferably large in both cases).
saturday: movign guys come to get all the big furniture, and then a rediculous amount of cleaning to make my landlord happy.
sunday: more landlord ass kissing.

wow moving sucks. i'm stoked about the new house, but not so much about putting my life in boxes. see, this is why i firmly believe that teleportation devices should be in existence! life would be so much easier if we could all teleport. no more high gas prices or pollution, no more being late, no more traffic, hell, no more road systems! one less thing the government doesn't have to spend money on, so we can get out of this freaking national debt!

she's a problem solver, that one.

here's the deal with life in general:
+tomorrow: ihave the day off! which will probably be spent cleaning and packing, but hey.
+wednesday: girlfriend and i will have been together a whole six months. i sort of make more of a big deal about this than i should, but here's how i see it: at the age i am now, i grow and experience things and change more in one year than i will for the rest of my life. to spend half of that time with someone is kind of a big deal. they've gotten you through half the journey you've taken over this course of time, and reflecting on it just makes you more excited about what's to come.
so, just for her, i'm taking her to see these guys




and these guys, too.



+next saturday, the 27th: the big move! (and my cousin's moving two doors down from where she lives, which is right up the street from me, on that same freaking day! yeesh!)

if you're a bone-a-fied sg or hopeful(?) there's a link in one of the sg boards to the MR que order...i saw one yesterday that won't go up til october, so i'm guesstimating that mine won't be up til then either....

girlfriend has been up since 4:30 this morning doing a retail count at work she'll be home soon for a nice nap, and then...

we're off to mi padres house for some football sunday fun! i'm not as into football a some, but my dad has raised me a dallas fan since i could say the word "cowboy." apparently his friend down the street growing up was a redskins fan, and he wanted a little rivalry and for that reason alone i am a traitor to charm city.

plus, my books have finally come in the mail over at dad's, and i reallly need to catch up on all the homework i've missed without them

its going to be a long day, kids. girlfriend kept tossing and turning last night cos our sheets suck.

my new set should be finished by tonight! i will most likely have it up in MR by tomorrow...

i spent money yesterday on nothing but porn and coffee. and i'm starting to worry about xmas presents. looks like i'll need a second job again.

i'm going to see a psychic in three weeks.

i think i'll spend most of tomorrow rearranging my room- a mental health day at last.

none of my books have come in the mail yet, and i have homework due tomorrow.

hello all!

the shoot last sunday was amazingsauce! we wound up working entirely backstage, which is actually a very old, unused lunchenette counter complete with cheesy orange booths and retro lamps, and some random stage lighting and seating...

school is unbearable boring.

i'm moving into a new house closer to downtown (and to work), but farther from girlfriend. not like she doesn't have to drive 35 miles to get to work every day anyhow. check out my myspace to see the amazing pictures i just got around to putting up from the beach! myspace, bitches!

i've got the worst back pain today, and all i want to do is crawl into bed and not come out all day:p plus, its raining.
