My sweet gentle old Drax passed away yesterday afternoon. I miss him so much but it was better he went suddenly, at home with me, before his quite serious health problems had time to make him suffer. I've had lots of pets die before, 2 cats, a rat, 2 dogs before Drax, and a puppy--in my arms--but none have upset me as much as watching Drax go. None of them ever needed me as much as he did.

I made a memory box for him.

Eventually, maybe soon, I'll rescue/adopt another, Drax wouldn't want me to be lonely without him.
