Ackley RAWKS

If I wasn't so madly in love with Los Angeles, I would break up with it. I had to go pay a speeding ticket today and I couldn't do it online or over the phone. So I drive to the courthouse and they charge me four dollars to park. I told the worker how evil it was to charge people to park when they are going in to pay a massive fine from some swine trying to fill a quota. I laughed at me saying he doesn't make the rules he just enforces them. Then he tells me to stop breaking the law. I might have been speeding, but it was the freeway and no one was on it. The chances of even being able to speed in LA is amazing, so when the opportunity comes to let my hair blow in the wind and be free I'm going to take it. I was only going twenty something over the speed limit... anyways, now I have to take 8 hours of traffic school and that sucks, but at least my insurance won't go up; ) So I guess the moral of the story is... don't speed. The cops out here will ticket you for anything. California is using its residents to pay off its massive debt.

Chicago is violating the sanctity of its citizens' rectums as well. Money-grubbing bastards!

Enough of my rant. Thanks for the friend request. smile

Speeding is civil disobedience. This has a long and time-honored tradition. wink

And if it's on the freeway, not through somebody's neighborhood or where kids and animals might get hurt- my sympathies are entirely with the speeder. smile

Bwahahahaaa!! Don't get me started on tickets these days. They have started enforcement for revenue generation to make up for lost tax dollars from the down economy.

I feeeeeellllll yooouuu. I paid around $500 for speeding [and mostly racing, haha] just in my first four months driving .. including a court date or two. I've NEVER gotten a warning. I don't even think they exist anymore. Only in the movies. The other day? I got pulled over for going FIVE MILES OVER.

Lately I've decided to change it up and add some flavor .. y'know, expired tags, no seatbelt charges, .. things like that. Variety. Might as fucking well -- it's happening anyway. ARRR!!!

Hey thanks for adding me. That sucks ass about your speeding fine. Whenever I think of traffic school I think of Homer Simpson, so maybe you should do that too, may help. The governator is probably driving you guys into debt because he has to pay massive medical bills due to his huge steroid abuse. Anyway enough ranting for me.

Thanks for the friendship request smile

I was recently fined $227 for speeding here on a road in the middle of nowhere - the cop was coming the other way and chased me to pull me over and he had a bad attitude to boot.

I much prefer Germany, I was there two years ago and driving on the autobahn with no speed limit is fun - except when it's raining so heavily you can't see more than 100 yards ahead and everyone still drives at 130mph, then it's kinda nerve racking!!

I live in Myrtle Beach on the East Coast. They are Driving away all of our Tourist here by absurd ticketing and new laws. I saw a dude at Taco Bell the other day and he told me he got a $125.00 ticket for not having his helmet Strapped. It was on just not strapped and he was on a Scooter that goes 20 miles and hour at most. The cop could said "Hey man, gotta tighten that strap up to properly have your helmet on. Have a nice and safe stay in Myrtle beach." and been done but NO. Thanks for the add by the way. woo.
