We came, we saw, we straightened, we sewed, we teased, hot rolled, and blended. Which yielded us the 2nd place in the school's hair fashion show.
For a 2 man group and me being out of school/carless for a week due to the accident, I'd say we did a pretty damn good job!
PS, that's a wig she's (on the right. I'm on the left, obvs.) wearing...and guess who made it!
Not much else is new. Working, schooling...got a new car. Car payments suck when I haven't had to deal with that in years but, when your car gets totaled...what can ya do!? At least I picked one I fell in ABSOLUTE LOVE with.
Flying to Texas next month for Christmas Break. Huzzah!

Prepare for a LONG BLOG!
Bad news or good news first? Let's get the bad news out of the way, shall we??
Yep, rear ended by a MACK truck on my way to academy Tuesday morning. Just minding my own business, no lane changes or anything...came to a complete stop on the interstate (typical DC traffic) and BAM, I'm wearing glass from the back windshield. He didn't get out out the truck to check on me once. I was a little sore but I didn't go to a hospital or anything. I got a call today that my car is totaled...my heart SANK. I just got that car in July and it was basically brand new. It's been a struggle this week (stranded without a car...not able to get to work or academy and the driver wouldn't respond or call the insurance company) and a MAJOR headache. Wish me luck on finding another good car and fast. xo
...And on the 3rd day, she mixed pumpkin vodka &pumpkin frappuccino and saw that it was good.
I LOVE OCTOBER, dude. Pumpkin/Harvest flavored everything. The birth month of my favorite person in the world, my grandmother. Halloween.
Halloween. Oh, 2012 weekend...this Undead Cleopatra is definitely not ending you on two legs. Someone might as well hook an IV of alcohol straight to my veins! I haven't partied since academy started so this weekend, I am taking full advantage.
I quit rockin' red lips when I put all the metal in my mouth but ya know, Russian Red is looking good on me. PS, in like next month, my orthodontist said he's probably giving me a "take off" date! Bu-bye braceface! (I hope!)
I'm ready to shoot a set. It's been a year since I shot the last one! Hard to believe that much time has gone by.

Call me crazy but this girl is going SKYDIVING next month!!! My stomach is already in my throat...as nervous as I am excited! It was unplanned...my uncle had an extra ticket. Oh haiiii! Want...MINE. I'll tell you guys all about it if I don't die. 
Oh, and I am back in the swing of things!
As of today, I am now attending a super legit hair academy. One year, and I'll be licensed and ready for action!
