FRONT PAGE, DUDES! Man, that felt good. Thanks a TREMENDOUS amount you guys, SG, and freakin' BROOKLYN!! She killed it with her photography skills. (And thanks for all the messages and friend requests. It's going to take a while but I promise to reply to every message in my inbox!)
It appears I caught the eye of a cute little stranger by the name of Pthalo. Her new blog is so funny!
I changed my ringtone to "Enjoy the Silence" by Depeche Mode which seemed like a great idea at the time but now I don't want to answer my calls so I can hear it play. Um, oops.
I want this...
If you think I'm kidding...well, you should see my serious face right now.
PS. To all my little SG Valentines, your mail will get sent out just in time! From my single heart to yours!
I love not flat ironing my hair for 3 days in a row...feels a little like freedom and a lot like more free time, ha!
THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH for the tremendous support on my comeback set. I'm definitely wearing all the smiles you gave me. I especially liked the comment from a member (who I messaged because of this) that noticed the golden fleck (or streak, even) in my right eye. It's something very small that I have always really loved about myself so I am absolutely thrilled when other people see it!
I have some killer fan art coming from this set. One from a member artist here who I have been a fan of FOREVER and it's an honor that he has chosen to draw me after all this time.
Anyway, thank you all! And thanks to Brooklyn! You guys should be thanking HER for making me look so unbelievable. She is UNREAL!
I'm seriously the biggest breakfast food junkie. When I get my groceries settled into my apartment and I'm hungry, I always go for eggs, bagels, cereal, and orange juice first (and that's it for days)...and when they run out EVEN though my kitchen has plenty of food...I feel like I have nothing to eat or drink.
What are foods you always stay stocked up on? (:
A new band I found out about last night that I like thanks to Pandora Radio.
"Accept what life offers you. Drink from every cup. All wines should be tasted; some sipped, but with others...drink the whole bottle."
My lease is up the end of February. It's hard leaving my home, leaving this entire area, after 2 years of enjoying it so much. Home is where your heart is, eh? Roanoke, it's crazy how much you captured mine. So much has changed and continues to since I moved into "the star city." Crazy that I moved here solely for my hair internship that landed me in the failboat due to their end of the stick. Meh! Working on finishing that up this year.
I leave without a relationship that I was so deeply rooted in...but with so much more love than I could ever imagine.
So many more friends...so many amazing, wonderful people.
So much more wisdom and life experience.
I tell you what, life is tricky but it's good to be alive. Thankful for each moment and opportunity. Dipping my fingers into anything that presents itself and appreciating every way it feels.
I hope you're ready for what's waiting for you all at noon tomorrow.
It's incredible the power and good nature that people possess. I feel extremely fortunate to be surrounded by the people that I am. Strangers, friends, family. I get so lucky. I am so lucky. So many helpful, friendly hands and smiling faces. So much good. I love and appreciate the good nature in people with everything I have in me.
Sure, certain aspects of our lives are crummy...but I've really just been putting everything into perspective and appreciating all the awesome and new people/events/everything in my life. Looking past the negative to see the positive. Life is good and there's so much amazing stuff in store waiting to happen that I'm not going to waste time on anything that's out of my control. This isn't a dress rehearsal, after all.
How infinitely rich and beautiful is life in every way. I am fortunate. I can be stuck in pain or I can be changed by it...and I choose to grow.
I hope I can make small, positive differences in peoples lives....stranger, friends, experiences, etc as they have done and continue to do for me.
Attitude of gratitude also goes a long way. Sending positive vibes to every single one of you guys on the site. <3
PS, My septum looks like a booger when I try to hide it. Attractive.
I woke up sick yesterday. Right before NYE. What the fuck? Oh well.
Here's to chugging a gallon of orange juice the night before and hoping for the best...
Some of you guys are curious what's going on with the set I shot with Brooklyn last month. Well, kiddos, we're planning to put it into member review at the end of the month so you guys should be able to view it early December. It's my favorite set yet and sort of a "comeback set" so I'm really looking forward to getting it up on the site!!
The homegrown hotties/bikini competition I was in last month made it into this month's issue of BLEND magazine. I picked up a few copies last night. ^_^
Sometimes when my life starts to feel stale, I usually do something extremely spontaneous. Wait for it...
