I hope you will take the MSF course. Motorcycles are lots of fun, and a great way to get around, but there are about five key tricks they teach you at the MSF course that make you much, much less likely to have a really bad accident.

If you don't mind used, you can often get a nice used bike that's barely been used for a much better price than a new one. They're a lot easier to work on than cars, so used bikes tend to be better buys than used cars.
