So, what better to do at 4-5ish in the morning? Build a Gingerbread House! The kit has been sitting in my floor, just tempting me for days. I just figured last night, why not?

What started out a good idea, ended up a not-so-good one. The box says to wait 15 minutes before decorating to give the house time to dry, but impatient me waited like 2 and started decorating. Meaning...the roof kept falling off. Funny twist to the story, was I whipped out my hair dryer, thinking I could get it to dry using that. I just ended up burning my fingers from the heat, and realizing that heat will just make it melt! My bright idea was to build it on my bed, since I was already in my room, so icing ended up in some places, candies rolled off the bed on to the floor...it was just a mess! I had to wash my sheets just now, haha, and I wanted to vacuum the dried-up icing pieces out of the floor, and the vacuum cleaner won't work! There's another upstairs, I'm just too lazy right now to get it! The icing tasted like death, too. I think it was as old as I am! It sure did taste like it. Here are pictures of my project:

This is the back of the house...after about an hour in, I was ready to throw it in the trash...so I just slapped some icing on a gingerbread man and slapped a tree on the front of the gingerbread man, and ta-da! The house is finished! So, either the tree is attacking him, or he's a dendrophiliac?
