time to update!

i've been taking extra special care of my wilma and violet over the past few weeks. wilma is back to her normal playful self! due to a lack of serious interest in either pup.... we've decided to keep both for the time being. i refuse to leave an animal at the shelter. I REFUSE!!! the good news is that they are actually getting along rather well. we just make sure to supervise them at all times. i love them so much. wish us luck. thank you all for the supportive messages! they mean a lot!

other happenings...
a snazzy new tattoo on my lower leg....a chinese lion and peony.
a new dolly for me made by my lovely friend kitty.
going to bed early....i've found feels really great sometimes.
riding my bike drunk. not good...but cute.
husband tried to give me away to three different people the other evening. the only positive news being all involved agreed to take me home. bad husband.
my friend kaci came to visit from new orleans. i miss her face so much ....it was a wonderful surprise.
the office season 4 is now in my possession.

i get excited over little things.
i need to take more pictures.

i spoke too soon. i always fucking do. literally minutes after i posted my previous blog, the girls got into their worst fight yet. wilma ended up in the hospital.....with a gaping hole in her neck and a puncture wound on her chest. i just brought her home today. she's all stitched up, and has a draining tube in her chest. she seems to be feeling a little better though. i, on the other hand, feel like i'm to blame. now i have to find a new home for my sweet violet. my heart is breaking. she's not a violent dog.... wilma knows how to push her buttons. i just couldn't live with myself if something happened to either one of them. so, i'm going to do what's best. let go.

husband found this little guy living in our bedroom. he said he felt like someone had been watching him for days.

he was correct.
we ran out of room in the freezer today, so the wedding cake topper got the boot.

bad luck? i hope not. who really wants to eat 3 year old cake anyway. i think we were suppose to eat it on our 50th wedding anniversary or something. that would be a whole lot of freezer burn.
so the dogs are doing better. i just purchased the dog whisperer dvds...and believe it or not, they've been quite helpful. i was able to take the girls on their very first walk together this morning!!! they usually pull me so much, that all i can normally manage is one, if that. now that i am able to walk them together, i think some of their aggression will fade away. me....the pack leader?? who would have thought.

where the fuck did summer go? today felt like the beginnings of fall....a slight breeze and the clearest sky filled with sharp yet subtle sunlight. i'm yearning for september, quite possibly my favorite month. there's just something about it... always has been for me. days like today make me wish for more free time. i've been thinking about things. i really want to do more. i want to learn more....take more photos...be more proactive. more, more, more!!! it's so easy to get set into a routine in this area. most of the people i grew up with are settled into their standard starts of southern living...with their little white fences, plans for 2.5 children, and their dinner on the table promptly at 6pm. when it comes to this sort of life, i suppose i'm domestically disabled. i want none of it.

the girls have been fighting lately....even leaving a splatter of blood on the walls. i can't begin to explain how sad this makes me. they get along so well usually. wilma is jealous and protective of everything...me, her toys, her food, you name it. violet looks like a bully, but really only is if she's pushed to her breaking point. unfortunately, wilma is a pusher. i don't know what to do. advice, please. husband says i may have to find a new home for one. i really don't like the idea of that. i don't want to be selfish though. it would crush me, if something were to happen to my girls.

i feel like i haven't posted in forever. i hate being busy. anyhoo....the wedding went fine. food and booze...no annoying old classmates...only a few "what the fuck" stares...and my mom didn't have a heart attack when she saw all my new tattoos....i consider it a successful evening. my lovely new dress....see previous blog...unfortunately didn't fit, so a last minute, but equally as hot substitute made an appearance. damn big boob intended dresses....i could have stuffed for days to no avail. if only i could have borrowed rigel's boobs for the day.
exciting news!!!! audrey has taken a lover, and i finally have a zombie to call my very own.

i hope everyone gets smothered in kisses this week just like my little wilma.

so i have to attend what may possibly end up being the cattiest wedding of the year. my childhood best friend is getting married. i haven't seen her since my wedding two years ago...well, i didn't even actually see her then, but her presence was there in the form of a silverware gift. she apparently jetted out before the reception. going to this wedding means returning to my hometown and seeing people i haven't spoken to in around eight years or so. i loathe all the forced awkward small talk and "what have you been up to questions." i really don't feel like compressing the last eight years into a five minute conversation that no one really cares about. they were overly critical then, and i'm sure things have only gotten worse. maybe i'll just start with, "i'm naked on the internet" and watch them scurry away. te he. but, i'm going. in style, mind you. i will be wearing this:

my little wicker basket arrived today. i'm all set. i did lots of riding this weekend. i also went to a music/arts festival downtown...saw lots of awesome bands....drank lots of lukewarm beer. i swear the weather here went from a cool spring to the dead heat of summer just like that. i had boobie sweat stains on my dress from dancing....and i barely have boobies. what the fuck.
i'm getting this zombie tattooed on me later this month.

fido, my favorite domesticated zombie. i can't wait. every girl should have a zombie.

what's new with you?

i got a new bicycle today. i'm so excited. all i need is a little basket to carry all my stuff and i'll be good to go. husband laughs at me. i think i must look silly....or maybe he's trying to look up my flying skirt. i only own two pairs of pants...i'm obviously not your typical bicycle type. regardless, i'm very happy about my new purchase! earth friendly and affordable. i love it.

today was a stressful day for me and my violet. i went to the dentist, and she went to the vet. is it just me, or aren't people getting stranger and stranger? my dentist sang hymns during my dental visit today. apparently, he is an aspiring gospel singer now....or maybe he thought my tattooed ass could use some religion in my life. surprised? no. annoyed? yes. i've lived in the bible belt my entire life, but come on people!!!
in other news...miss violet had her baby maker removed today. she is so pitiful. look at that face. i love her so.
