do you ever do things that you know are bad? relationship-wise, i mean. have you ever fallen for someone repeatedly when you know that they're going to break your heart, but you can't stop yourself?

I know that someday I'm going to wake up from this messed up crazy love affair thing (what do youcall things like this) and realize that I've done nothing but hurt myself. And knowing this with my mind, my heart plunges on unceasingly.

I may not be online for a while since I don't have internet in my apartment, and now that I'm reasonably unsick and not watching my neighbor's house, I have no excuse but to go back to the land of blue walls and finish painting. So if my set goes up (which is VERY optimistic since I've been on the site a mere 10 days) please be kind (never been naked for an audience except for truth or dare freshman year) and I'll reply when I get here again!

things i love about spring:

-the air smells good and it's not raining
-its only uphill from here: summer, then fall!
-kids run around in the coldasac
-the sunsets are nice and IT'S NOT RAINING!
-the guy on the corner sells strawberies and roses

How am I going to survive the pacific northwest if I hate rainy drizzle? ha, put me under a sunlamp because I swear I have seasonal depression. Its ok though, winter was short this year. Rock on, global warming. At least in my part of the world.

Just thought I would share my gloat-fest with you. I was really nervous I would get rejected from everywhere, and now i can be nervous about everywhere-minus-one, which is better by far. I'm going to college ! *does dance*

*sigh* It's a gray saturday and I'm back at my house (or my parents house rather), being the reigning princess of phlegm. The germs make me want to forfeit my social life all weekend long, and stay in bed with a box of kleenex.
So I will.

At least I'm getting laundry done for free, and making Pillsbury cinnamon rolls. Yum!

I think maybe you can get germs from the internet, because some kids on the site were writing about being sick ... and now I'm sick too. It's more likely I got it from preschool tho, the biggest germ factory ever.

To liven up my weekend in bed I bought an unabridged copy of the kama sutra. when my great aunt gave me a Border's gift card for christmas I dont think that's the book she had in mind for me.

I got my swag today ! I love getting packages. I paid half of February and all of March's rent yesterday so the check is a relief, but I'm not quite as exited about that as I am about the pink panties!

I've decided that I'm going to tell my significant other about my SG ventures by taking off all my clothes, and when he sees my pink panties he'll say 'what's this?' Hopefully his boner will overshadow his potencial outrage/confusion about me being naked on the internet. But if he can't accept my choices as they are then it wasn't meant to be right? And what boy doesn't want the girl next door to be a pinup?

If tomorrow is a sunny day I might go and stick my stickers all over my hometown, inciting anarchy with my suburban vandalism. *giggles*

Ah election day.

Since I'm a big girl now, I can vote in November! Forgot to register for this one, but since I don't know much about politics, it's ok. But I do know who I'm NOT voting for in the fall *cough*dammrepublicans*cough*


My roomate asked me to get high with him today ... i guess that means we're bonding. I was like, who, me?

I just found out that venice goes to my top choice school, so I've been grilling her about my chances of admission! Since it's March now, the colleges are going to start sending their letters soon. With all that and being in Limbo I'm in perpetual suspense! *sigh*

my apartment (my room anyway) is now blue!

and not just any blue - its like I'm living in a swimming pool.

nevermind that a lot of my clothes, dishes, etc (basically anything I've touched) are also smudged with blue.

I always get on the site thinking that I'll just be here for a minute, and end up being here for hours!

I'm off to paint my apartment - the walls are going to be blue, the trim black, and the closet ... MAGENTA. It's going to rock and soon it will finally look like home. And my friend is letting me borrow her futon, so I'll have a real bed!

Soon we're going to hit up the flea market on Ashby to find super cheap furniture. My girls are always looking for excuses to get to the East Bay.

I'm so exited to be on the site! I can't tell you the anxiety of waiting for the last few weeks. I'd rather be in Limbo than just about anywhere else!

In other areas of my life I do feel like I'm hanging between here and there. I've just moved into my fantastically new apartment, but I still don't have any furniture, nor have I paid my deposit, so it doesn't feel like mine yet.

And I'm unsure about what to tell a significant other (among others) about my decision to join SG. Maybe I'll go with them to that new movie about the 'girl next door' who is actually a porn star, and then my punkrock pinup-ness won't seem so scandalous in comparison. clever clever. I'm exited to be scandalous, so be nice kids, don't burst my bubble... I'm new, I'm shy!
