so valentine's day turned out to be not that bad...i went to a club and danced to some electro. and i ended up having a valentine too it was nice.

but TONITE is electro techno disco LOVE! i'm hella excited...i've been waiting for this for months...dieselboy was gonna spin...but he backed out and concord dawn is gonna spin instead. i <3 them. it's gonna be a rad nite.

so the rave was alright...it was freezing cold in there. kinda killed my mood. but i still danced a lot.

i'm hella stressed cause i have all this shit to do this week. i hafta leave in a few minutes to go down to the comcast service center and yell at them for being idiots. again. and then i still have lots of other shit to do...

but at least the rain stopped! yay!

and i get to vote tomorrow! yay again!

i can't wait till saturday...i'm going to iSpin 2, it's a rave all the way in modesto, but i'm not driving haha. it's gonna be awesome!

i haven't raved in so long! the last one i went to didn't count, cause that one got broken up before i could get my groove on...and i'm gonna see so many people that i haven't seen in forever! it's gonna be grate. and yes, i misspelled that on purpose.

so today was my first day back to school. it's gonna be okay...i thought i was really gonna hate reporting, but i think it will be manageable.

our first assignment is to write an obituary for a classmate based on an in-class interview, which made me hella sad because a friend of mine just died on tuesday. he wasn't a close friend, but a friend nonetheless...he was younger than i am...doing this assignment made me realize how much i haven't done yet, but at the same time it made me realize how happy i am with life. but enough sappiness...

it's rainy and gross, and it's really cold. at least the storm isn't killing everything like last time. the day after my birthday was just plain scary.

and the cats say hi.

so tomorrow's my birthday. i turn 21. wooo!

i had a birthday/new years party, and it was pretty awesome. all my favorite people were there. and there was cake. i'm gonna miss 2007, it was a great year. yep.

i promised i'd update, even though it's a bit late.

tripp was awesome. they had breaks in the main room and i danced my ass off. met some cool people, went to an afterparty and chilled. a good night.

finals sucked, but they're over. i know that i for sure got an a in one of my classes. hooray.

now for winter break. i hate vacations. but next semester i'll hate school because i'm taking reporting. i don't know what to do with myself.

this coming week is dead week. it won't be too bad. i've got the semester pretty handled. i think i'm gonna get 5 As and a B in my classes. i've slacked off just the right amount.

oh, and i won NaNoWriMo. it's been a while since i've updated, and since then, i've written a 50,000 word book. yeah. cheers. now all i need to do is to get it published and become a best selling author and go on oprah. then i won't have to worry about college.

yeah, sure.

and i missed dieselboy at compression on thursday. fuck that.

this weekend is gonna be sweet. trippendicular 4! i'll post pics. i'm also gonna post some pics from no place like home 2, which was last month. i should have posted them a while ago, but i didn't. oh well. it's a good collection of pics. so now you get to see what abjectly looks like in "raver mode."

i took my first shroom trip yesterday.

my friend came over cause he knows what he's doing, and we were planning on going for a walk in golden gate park or something, but we started watching some stupid video on youtube, and before i knew it the floor started moving and i was full on tripping.

my house looked SO COOL. it was nothing like i expected. everything looked so clean and crisp and highly saturated with color. everything looked like it was put into photoshop and every setting was turned way up. paz had purple pinstripes and mardi gras colored whiskers. noodle had red and black checkers. we all had some good conversations. and the people living in the wall that my dresser is against came to visit, and i showed them the rest of the house. everything was so pretty. pink was in everything. my hair was so fluorescent, and it was in my clothes and my face and everything. i felt like i was in Lisa Frank land. everything was so pretty and girly. so many colors. the funniest part was when i came out into the living room where my room mates were and acted like a crazy person. one of them knew what was going on, the other one didn't. i had to explain later.

but then afterwards i was so confused. i couldn't form coherent thoughts. i really wanted to go to mesmerize, but my brain couldn't put together all of the pieces and thoughts in order to get there, and by the time i could, it was too late to really bother. and it was after 7, so it was no longer $10, but $25. lame.

yesterday was very odd. but now i'm inspired to make my house look like it did on my trip. that'll be interesting.
