You're right the air hostess gig doesn't pay very well, and I suspect that over an extended period of time it might not provide enough nourishment for that gorgeous brain of yours, but if you're itching to give it a try, I don't see why you shouldn't. It would allow you to put your language skills into practical use on a daily basis while you're thinking about what you really want to do for a career. Go for it.

I think you should do what you enjoy doing and if you like it thats great and if you dont theres tons of other jobs that might be more to your liking, just dont be afraid to go do what you want thats the mistake most people make...

congratulations on finishing school! There are lots of careers in the travel/hotel world that need translation skills - not just the ability to say "the toilet is in the back" either. Think of safaris, treks to special places, international conferences in Geneve, educational cruise ships to the Galapagos...and then there's the business office tasks of these types of enterprises... a blend of discipline and following your heart is most likely to give you an interesting developing life--either by itself tends to lead one in ever smaller circles, as I think you already know.

Some of my favorite all time jobs were those that didn't pay much. looking back now, I wish I would have stuck with what made me happy work wise, rather than just go for the green.
