In response to recent activist efforts to ban foie gras cruelty in California, Chef Jon Sears is spitefully hosting a foie gras dinner at his restaurant, the Dining Room, in San Mateo. Sears Ecynical dinner menu for the night includes dishes such as 'Foiellywood,' 'John Burton's Sweet & Sour Foie Gras,' and 'Shawshank Foie.' Join us for an evening of leafleting and video screening against the sale and production of foie gras outside of the Dining Room. Signs and leaflets will be provided. Hosted by Farm Sanctuary and East Bay Animal Advocates.
