"Wichita Lineman" by REM. Michael Stipe brings out the creepiness and obsession in the song that Glenn Campbell didn't pick up on.

You know......i've been listening to this Misfits "Project 1950" deal for a day or so.....and it's actually kinda grown on me. I thought it was going to be terrible, but it's really not all that bad.

That said, here's some more

the Minibosses - a metric asston of old Nintendo game themes.
Children of Bodom - Aces High, the Final Countdown aaand what's that Scorpions song they do? Damn my eyes.
that awesome Less than Jake album where they do all 'Grease' covers.

I'm a sucker for the Cardigans' covers of the Sabbath. And I'm totally down with the Gourds' "Gin and Juice." But "Hot for Teacher" rocked by the boognish-powered Ween is my all time favorite.

I'll simply say Johnny Cash's cover of Depeche Mode's Personal Jesus.
