“Al says: After a long hard night of being awesome, it was hard for me to get out of bed and meet London at 10 in the morning. I got up early, washed the smell of smoke and sweat from my achey body, and took some time to pamper myself. I scrubbed my feet and painted my toenails, styled my hair and even put on makeup. The morning was so beautiful with its white clouds and yellow dappled sunlight, I felt so alive, so invigorated, so powerful, so feminine. I got dressed up like the woman inside me, grabbed my parasol and walked out the door. It was MY day.”
