This set was shot in the upstairs living quarters of a strip club I had always been curious about visiting, next door to a room where the ghost of a man who had died less than a month ago still lingered.
It was sweltering hot, and rugby fever had hit the city, meaning the streets were littered with hordes of loud pringle cans, naughty nurses, cavemen, dancing bears, Borats and other costumed weirdos, the window was open and there were no curtains, and a couple of men dressed as Pringle Cans and other assorted snack food items watched and hooted their way through the whole thing.
We were hours behind, the photographer had to be somewhere else like RIGHT now, I'd forgotten part of my costume, and a crazy foreign stripper kept walking into the room and smoking on us exactly every five minutes for an hour.
Despite all this, it was my favourite shoot yet and I hope you enjoy it just as much. After a long day, I like to relax with a nice strong drink, check it out this is cocktail hour. Photography by the talented Rose Morgan
