Looking at Nana's profile, I'm pretty sure the pendant isn't supposed to be an SS symbol, but the Death in June logo. I know the band has courted controversy using a similar logo, but from the limited knowledge I have of the band, they are anti-Nazi.
you're wrong.
About what? The pendant is too small to see in detail, but it looks like the smiling skull seen on the DiJ official page. Of course, I could be wrong.
I am aware of this symbol and its origins. But until proven otherwise I'll assume it's the slightly modified DiJ logo rather than a neo-Nazi symbol. Of course, there is the old discussion about how tacky it was for DiJ to use such a symbol, but why somebody would think an out gay man who supports Tibet would associate with neo-Nazis is more of a head scratcher to me.
Where do you think THEY got the symbol? I mean its only been around for just over a hundred years or so, but maybe youre right. Naaah.
You may want to check out Nana's pictures on her profile, in a few of them she has a swastika painted across her breasts, and she describes her fantasy as "being raped by nazi soldiers in gasmasks". Not to mention that it was not uncommon for the nazi soldiers in wwii to drug girls with candy and rape them. So, you're still wrong.
she changed it.
now its "fantasy: being raped by nice boys in nazi uniforms and gasmasks"
mmmhmm. that makes it okay.

Interesting if true. Also, her profile indicates a strong interest in anything Japanese, and the Loli and Goth Loli trends continue to be huge there.
I don't know if she was actively looking to go for that look (i.e. Kamakazi Girls), or literally child-like.
Rape is horrible, and so is beating someone. I am not comparing the two as equally devastating - but why can S&M or blood-play be depicted in sets , and not a rape fantasy? Assaults are crimes - period. But where can we - or dare to - draw the line in depicting fantastic images of the same? I just don't know.
ummmm sexual assault =crime
S&M or blood play = an activity between consenting adults
just a little different there dude

i am really sory for you ta2dmom
but do you think that we should censored the set? make rape more taboo that it's already is?
i say no, we must talk about it... and thanks to Nana, we can
are you fucking serious, dude?
"oh yeah man, it sure is great that she dressed up like a little girl and pretended to be violated while unconscious... otherwise we would have never realized that rape is bad." (insert eyeroll here)
don't be a moron. everyone knows rape is bad. the staff should have had the decency to not give their stamp of approval.
this set didn't have a moral. it didn't show rape was bad or evil or horrific.
it showed rape. child rape.
and a girl, post-rape, who proceeded to make fuck faces at the camera.
does that show the horrors of rape?
NO.
it implies she liked it.
because all girls totally dig rape, right?
this is disgusting and ridiculous.

i will only say that most of the other sets that toe the line (ie s&m themed sets) imply consent or are solo in nature. i think it's the implication of forced sexual interaction that many people (myself included) have a problem with.
I agree. Would this mean that people that engage in rape fantasies with their partners are over the line? I know that when they do, despite the play-acting, the participants "know" they they are not actually being raped. Where does the visual depiction of a rape fantasy fit in?
Truth be told, my GF and I have occasionally incorporated this type of fantasy into our sex life, and she has a history where it was all too real. I am very confused at this point.

This is a beautiful set. I enjoy the fact that you weren't afraid to express your fantasy or creativity. I liked it very much!

actually the more i think about it, the more pissed i get. i am a survivor of child molestation. why would some one glorify it in this manor? it's not ok. it's insensitive, inappropriate, and disgusting.
