Rafi appreciation/goodbye thread.

our good friend Rafi has gone gray. we knew it was coming, but it is still very sad. i didn't know him too well, but i thought it would be fitting to send him off with a new orleans style jazz funeral. say a few words about him if you wish or just enjoy the party! it's the way he would have wanted it.

He's gone gray, too.

Rafi would have been amused that the first reaction was concern for Raffi, both of whom are very much alive.

well, like i said before, i didn't know Rafi very well. i wasn't even on his friend list. but he caught my eye when he started a thread about silent films. this guy seriously knows his movies. and his taste in music isn't too shabby either.

this tom waits song makes me think of Rafi. i'm not sure why. but it does.
