Low income housing has nothing to do with it.

I would say that the high price of college would be a more contributing factor.

Have you ever tried to pay for a four-year college? YIKES!!!!!

Yes, and I failed miserably. In fact, I may start stripping to try to pay for it again...

I was a male cheeleader in college, look at me, yech indeed.

it was definately an odd experience, I am still not quite sure how I got involved other than the one guy who spoke to me whenI arrived at school was a cheerleader and talked me into it.

I wonder what the exact statistics are on what percentage of strippers used to be cheerleaders compared to other job occupations. *ponders*

Is it just me or is a connection between cheerleading and stripping somewhat improbable?

I know a striper who now works at a bank. What about the percentage of bankers who were formally strippers? shocked

The 76,438 cheerleaders who graduated high school across America in 1998 (the last year for which data was available) went into the following professions and/or higher education institutions:

Four year college or University - 15,398 (20.1 percent)
Two year college - 10,668 (14 percent)
Marriage - 22,830 (29.9 percent)
Military - 688 (0.9 percent)
Hard-core pornographic video production - 17,397 (22.8 percent)
Dancing/Stripping - 9,325 (12.1 percent)
Other - 132 (0.2 percent)

So, as you can see, most cheerleaders do not go into the sex industry, and of those that do, more go directly into hardcore ponographic video creation than stripping.

It must be true. Statistics never lie.

The percentage of cheerleaders becoming strippers is only slightly higher than the percentage of nuns and catholic schoolgirls who become strippers. In some cases, a stripper will have formerly been a catholic schoolgirl, who was a cheerleader right before becoming a nun. The trifecta. Very hot.

Can't spell.

i know a girl who was the ugliest nerd in HS (not my HS). she wanted to be a cheerleader but everyone laughed at her.so now that she grew some boobs she became a stripper even though her face is still busted.
also there are alot of girls that are hot and dance, because they make a shit load of cash.

but not this particular one. shes still an ugly nerd.
