There's plenty of places to hike there AlienHeep. If I manage to get up the guff and meet everyone for the first time, I'd be happy to lead a hike up Neahkahnie Mt or just about anywhere else around there (there's loads of great beaches to explore around there).
From the peak, looking south towards Manzanita Beach and Nehalem Bay in the background.
The campgrounds inside Nehalem Park are located just to the right of the airstrip (which is in the park, that small empty patch in the forest just inside the bay).
Some shots from the trail...
A view of Neahkanie Mt from Manzanita Beach (unsurprisingly, it's covered in cloud).
And finally, a view from Ecola State Park, up north of Seaside. Look familiar to anyone?
Neahkahnie is beautiful. Got to spend a couple days out there putting batteries in a cell site. Brought my tent and everything but my boss wouldn't let us camp on site
I'm sad you people have no faith in my hiking boots.
They've already been broken in and hiked up a mountain.
And bedazzling them will only end up leaving sparklys in the woods for animals to eat and choke on.
Sharpees.... I still might do. Come to think of it, I should have done that before I got them dirty.

I was the one who said they would no longer be new in a year, i.e. I expected you to hike in them. Don't know what the rest of these losers are talking about.
