I can't explain why I love Doctor Who without crying. I'm not obsessed with it or a Whovian, but here's why I do:
The show has such a rich and poetic history. It is about constant loss and renewal with only the promise of more loss. There are these beautiful moments that can happen in the silliest of situations.
And, most importantly, Doctor Who is made with love.
Weeping angles freak me the hell out. Those are one of those things that make my mind play stupid tricks on me where I make the dogs stay nice and close. Lol.
I'm watching the older episodes and... I'm super confused so far. I get that well over half all the episodes are missing... but Time Lords are still alive?
