You are not an asshole in my book. But in the ledgers of others I would assume the answer is the latter. If they cannot effect you with their opinion then they would be offended that they have no control over your life.

your right my truck was at the bar were i left it, now i just have to find my missing left shoe, i know how girls lose shoes when drinking, but how does a guy lose a shoe when drinking?

Was it a loafer? Did you loosen the laces enough for you to slip on and off? Did you decide to tear it off in a fit of rage and use it to beat someone?

it was a work boot, i dont recall loosening the laces and i have no obvious bruises or pains to implicate a fit of rage.... maybe it decided to run off and join all the socks that disappear in the laundry?
