I liked 3, only because the ending dealt with temporal mechanics in a proper-way, which sooooooooo many scifi time travel stories drop the ball. Judgement Day had to happen, it always had to happen, because if it didn't, then the Terminator and John's father would never have traveled back in time in the first movie.
I really like this answer. I still believe RudieCanFail, but he hasn't here. 
This is pretty much why I liked it as well. It's actually the only thing that saved it.
