You have to earn a profile pic, which will be assigned to you by staff. Not reading around the website to figure things out on your own gets you a worse picture.

it costs an extra $29.99 to upload a profile pic. so unless you're rich, you better choose a good one.

step1 click on the Profile tab:
then click Edit


step2 click choose file, make sure the picture is 235x175, otherwise it may not save.


step3
click save

if you follow those steps correctly your profile picture will appear...eventually.

Thanks.Tried it to no avail.Don;t have paint pro etc,seems like size is wrong and can't change size.Been in touch with moderators,but they don't seem to help newbies.

I like how under the Help FAQ, section 5.7 it says. "I can't upload my profile pic. What's wrong with me?"

The size limits on images have actually increased, but no one has bothered to change the statements about the restrictions. Try it and see
