I'm a moderator on another forum where whenever a mod locks a thread they have to post a final post in it explaining the reasons they have chosen to lock it. I think it's a pretty solid rule, especially after reading a few of the threads posted here and not really understanding why they got locked.

I completely agree. I think its arbitrary and childish. But keeping this whole thing going really breaks the point here in silliness. We like to have fun, poke at each other and have a good time. Keeping the drama going just breaks the mood. Please I know you mean well. But for the fun to keep going and let the CE bunch to lose interest and leave us at peace, just let it go.

Where are we supposed to post funny pictures and video of the President now though? Is that officially a "taboo" topic here?

I don't have a clue. I think having a thread that is the soul subject of that is now a taboo in the ruling classes eyes. Unfair? Yes. Childish? Yes. Reasonable? No. Reality? Yes.

The fact of the matter is that we are not the majority here, we don't get to set policy, we just have to deal with being persecuted because someone else happens to be offended. Such is life.

After all this I truly feel resentful and hurt to be violated by outsiders and told to deal with it, but when it comes down to it. There is no choice other than to leave or stay. I like the people here on Silliness, I have made some good friends here and I would not want to leave unless the surroundings became absolutely unbearable. They haven't yet. I hope they don't. I feel if we drop it the people that are bringing their hate malice and look at me attention getting tactics will soon lose interest and leave us alone.

So please. Lets just drop it. If you would like to talk about this in more detail I would welcome some constructive back and forth in PM, while my account is still active. But lets keep this off the boards.
