hiccups are also a kind of myoclonic jerk that affect the diaphragm

tonic-clonic? I've had a dystonic reaction to a medication before and it was one of the most painful things i've ever experienced; my hand seized up and I couldn't move my fingers, I couldn't hold my head up straight and it felt like my tongue was trying to force its way backwards into my stomach.....I couldn't get a straight word out. horrible.
