Wendy, I think it's quite refreshing that Vanessa has a bit of an attitude and isn't afraid to express it here and there. I just don't understand why you would show up here in Silliness (an area where you never interact with anyone) and give her a hard time. You could have done that in other areas of the site where her comments have obviously gotten under your skin.

Clearly this is the logical thing to do. When someone says something you think is being obnoxious you get up, walk away, find somewhere else in which the person is also being rude, and go and pick a fight with them over there.

i think his point was that vanessa does post in areas that wendy also does, so it would be more logical for her to have that discussion in an area where they both post, rather than suddenly showing up on a section of the site she never comes to in order to pick a fight. why post in silliness, just once, to tell someone off when you're never around here anyway?

When someone is rude, the appropriate response is not

1: Comment stalk them (creepy)

2: Find somewhere else where they are being rude where you hang out more often (creepier; manipulative)

3: Go there, pick a fight. (Totally fucking creepy, also weirdly time-delay obsessive.)

Like everywhere else on the fucking internet, you respond to a comment in the place it was made, rather than wandering off and passive-aggressively responding somewhere else because you don't meet some absurd admission standard. This isn't your private club, two thousand and ten.
