I just finished making a batch of homemade chili, and now I have to find a way to combine it with savory pancakes, per the suggestion of Miss Lusyd.

I wonder if you could somehow bake the pancake batter into a bowl shape of some sort...

maybe use a double boiler and treat it as a crepe and 'paint' the bowl...
layer a few times and let it rise...

Or, make crepes and put them in a bowl after cooked, since the will absorb the chili and break down.
