Pomegranates

Does anyone dig them as much as me?

If it's pomegranate flavored or scented...I must have it!

In fact the last hair dye I used I bought simply because it had pomegranate essence.

yes yes and yes. body wash. body spray. lip balm. juice. candy. margaritas. especially the margaritas. yum.

What kind of body wash? From Bath and Body Works?

What kind of candy? I know they have mints.

body wash: actually pomegranate mango from softsoap. not as good as the pomegranate martini scent that bath and body works used to make, but i used it all up. and the midnight pomegranate is way to sweet smelling. stupid discontinued scents.

candy: the pomegranate lemon-aid mints and any of the variety of gums that have it as a listed flavor.

oh and haggin daz pomegranate chip. pomegranate flavored ice cream with little chocolate chips. so good.

Oh yep, I've had that ice cream.

I like the SoBe. And the Jones soda. Yum.

I don't think I've ever had pomegranate. Have no clue what they taste like.

Funny, I was shopping early this morning for a food drive, and was looking at all of the pomegranate juices at the supermarket.

...and that's my cue to go back to the supermarket and buy up all the pomegranate juice. I think I'll just bathe in it for a couple hours.

in high school, the house behind the school had a pomegranate tree...

They're weird fruits. A pain in the butt to really prepare, because it's a ton of tiny little bubbles of juice all wrapped up in the bitter pith, which you don't want to eat. And once you separate the wee juice bubbles (I know there's a real name for them, but my beer is kicking in and it's getting harder to type) and you're eating them, it's also disconcerting because they're crunchy! But the crunchy thing is the wee seed bit, but it's full of fiber so you GOTTA eat 'em!

I think it's worth the work. I don't like that it dyes my counter red.

no joke, but when we were on our four day long patrols in iraq, we'd stop at the Hajimart in on of the villages, set up 360 security, and buy up shitloads of haji snacks and foods. one ofmy favs was the pomegranate soda. at first, we didn't know what flavor it was because it was all in haji writing, but there was a picture of a fruit on the can, so we just kept asking everyone what the fuck it was, and voila, turned out to be pomegranate soda.

the shit was pretty fucking good. i miss it. heh.
