The initial movie was called The Professional and had 26 minutes of the movie cut due to preview responses in the U.S., two years later it was released in Europe with the 26 minutes included as Leon, four years after that it was re-released in the US as Leon:The Professional....
same movie, more material in Leon or Leon:The Professional vs The Professional
