Now that all my grandparents are no longer with us we basically have a xmas meal that lasts about 10 hours We usually get around to opening presents sometime in the evening

my tradition: once about November hits, I usually start my holiday drinking binge... it's been a little heavier than normal this year... haha
i'm going to be alone again this year. might as well get sloshed!

Damn , I want to move in with your family .
No real traditions here to speak of . When we were all younger , we did the usual family get together for dinner at my parents . But now there's just my mom & she doesn't feel up to it most times . And most of us are in different states / have jobs that won't let us get together .
I think it's an Italian tradition to have big seafood meals on Christmas eve. My sister's husbands family does that. My traditions are to travel / eat / drink constantly for about 3 days it's good to see family but it's really spread out. I got the flu a few days ago... this round is gonna be rough
