That doesn't look like much of a mint julep to be honest. Mint Julep is nothing but bourbon, sugar, mint and water. It should be more brown thn that or it will taste like a watered down coke. 
They are delicious, but a Mojito is better 
(sorry)
p.s. I'll take a tall drink of v_p!
