Yesterday I learned that dillos are a dry meat rub. Today, I learned what around the world means from Ray's and Nea's conversation. I am a better person.

in a life threatening situation, when water is no where to be found, you should drink your urine.

but note, to avoid bacterial build up in your urine, you have to drink it immediately after peeing it.

and that is not a permanent solution to your dehydration.

Really wish I would have known that 14 years ago as I love hummus and had horrible nausea throughout my pregnancy.

I'm pretty excited about this fact. If I ever get pregnant, I'm eating hummus nonstop!

Tampons can give you crucial time needed to get to a medic if you have a sucking chest wound.

tampons are great for stopping most arterial bleeding.

however, a sucking chest wound means that your chest cavity is no longer air tight, allowing air to hiss in and out causing your lungs to collapse and impairing your ability to breathe.

the proper treatment would be to apply an occlusive dressing to seal the wound. any kind of plastic wrap, used as an air tight seal would be best.

It only takes 7 pounds of pressure to rip a human ear off.

Not very neighborly or much of a workout.
