in a life threatening situation, when water is no where to be found, you should drink your urine.

Wear sunscreen.

Tampons can give you crucial time needed to get to a medic if you have a sucking chest wound.

tampons are great for stopping most arterial bleeding.

however, a sucking chest wound means that your chest cavity is no longer air tight, allowing air to hiss in and out causing your lungs to collapse and impairing your ability to breathe.

the proper treatment would be to apply an occlusive dressing to seal the wound. any kind of plastic wrap, used as an air tight seal would be best.

Blast, I knew I mixed that up. Oh well, it's been over 10 years since I went through CLS training.
