this reminds me of when i was in 4th grade...me and some friends who lived in the same apartment complex, we'd all walk to and from school together cuz it was a couple blocks away, and we'd always pass by this one old woman's house, and she'd inevitably be standing in the front doorway, behind the screen door, looking outside, often at us passing by, and we'd run by her house and giggle because her face was all gnarled up and contorted all scary-like, and we all thought she was a witch or something out of a Grimm's fairytale, and that she'd try and eat us one day and only several months ago did i realize that she could've possibly had a stroke and that's what caused her face to look that way, and i felt kinda like an asshole at that moment but oh well.

she just marched across the street, with a possed look in her googly eyes, i was afraid that she was going to come in, but it was too late to make it to the door and lock it.

but she just took a schedule, and walked away.

that was a close one.
