Well, yes, actually. That does make me feel a little better.

as far as america goes, a friend of mine asked me to go see a band she likes, Girlyman, with her.

At first I was worried that they were going to be some stupid reject Lilith Festival Act.

But they were really good. Very authentic, really heartfelt.

They made me proud to be an American. I wanted to go on a road trip, and drive through cornfields, like I did in my youth, they were so american.

Gay/Lesbian folk acts with three part harmony, that's my america.
